Right I'm making a conscious decision now not to read one bit of transfer news nor pay the club any attention until the first game of the season. The annual summer money fight can crack on without me I'm getting too old for this ****, wake me up when they're actually playing footy.

Do we often make official club statements when transfers break down? This is a first for me as far as I can remember. Might be wrong like.
