I think that what Leicester have done last season will be mirrored by many teams this season. The getting the ball forward in double quick time. If it means by passing the midfield then so be it. Thud has the ability to do that, but we have to have some pace to connect with that.
Gone down the Eric Dier route that lad, different position but maybe he will have had a good football education like the other lad
Huddlestone seems to be back to his best now, am excited to see him take that form on next season in a league to which he will be suited
I personally think Huddlestone has been a massive disappointment post his first 3 months with us and the only reason people think he was good at the end of last season was because it was an improvement on the previous years of ****e he'd served up. Wasn't it really interesting how he suddenly served up his best football in years as he stared unemployment in the face...?

Yep. Only a two year deal. If he was the player he used to be he would have got a 3 year deal or he would have got it elsewhere. Dont get me wrong he's a terrific footballer, one of the best passers of a ball we've ever had, if not the best, but his attitude was appalling last season. He was getting subbed against **** teams. Glad he improved at the end though. New season, fresh start.
I think that is about the best that be said about him. I wouldn't have resigned him, but as we have, I agree with what GLP says about him (below). For anyone in our team, including the manager, it has to be a new season, fresh start. 100% right, Chazz.
I wonder about him as part of a 3 man centre back line-up? Would be good to have a ball-player there, our distribution from the back isn't great, he's a perfect size, he can read the game and his slothness in midfield slowing down break away attacks would be a welcome removal. It would solve a lot of issues in one fell swoop. Martin Jol (I know...) said he was the best sweeper in the world for precisely these reasons and him in between Davies and Dawson would be formidable for a club like us. Put it this way, if Antonio Conte took over us tomorrow that's where he'd play him!
