Yeah I don't see him like that though glp, I'm not sure in the pl he'll be good enough at breaking play up and putting a tackle in, I often think our midfield doesn't get close enough to opponents midfield. I think we could get a better player than Huddlestone to do the donkey work but we'd struggle to find a better player with his passing ability, that's why I'd push him further forward and use his passing ability to supply passes to get Hernandez/forwards playing in and around the penalty area rather than having their backs to goal waiting for the ball to be knocked upto themWhy do that? You want effective passing from all areas of the team. Leave Huddlestone where he is most effective breaking up play and passing the ball to a team mate.
What we need to find is a midfielder that can do what Huddlestone can do, but also has the legs to carry the ball and play attacking passes.
