http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/43065/ Piece from Ugly Inside pointing out that Koeman will arrive in November to a match delayed by us playing in the Europa. As we start to turn away from the past and look forward to a hopefully interesting future, we should be aware that justice doesn't always happen...Ron may have a good career at Everton. We can't make the assumption that throwing money at something means you don't have a plan...Moshiri is considering bringing in a director of football (let's hope not Les Reed). The important thing is how we do...Ron falling on his face would be a bonus...but now time to move on. Our success will be the victory.
Flew direct to Singapore, stayed there Tuesday (not far from Chinatown) and then headed over to Malaysia.
I don't understand quotes like "If the board were that unhappy, why offer him a new contract" or "If JWP hated him that much, why sign up for another 5" Well, Ron was getting results, good results, and the board wanted to keep that up. Perhaps they were hoping they could iron the kinks out as he was doing well results wise? That seems logical to me. As for JWP - he's a club man through and through, I doubt he's too fussed who'se in charge. Sign for the club, not the manager.
Wow this is like an in depth analysis of why I said it fits too well. Trouble sleeping last night? Made for a nice read on my commute to work though.
Have to admit though what is in the story is a bit far fetched and is still bordering on all the speculation that has been going around. In truth there was nothing new in it, just confirmation of all the other rumours. This is what makes me sceptical of the whole thing as well. So yes it does all "fit too well" IMO.
Look who's the 14th Best manager in the world: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/fourfourtwos-50-best-football-managers-world-2015-15-11 Though that's rubbish, because look who's 13th
No, he's the sixth best manager in the world and has gone to the Premier League's most giantest club, don't you know?
It's worth remembering that this Jack Schitt guy said that he had added his own opinion to what he was saying as well. gossip coming from an employee of the club is still gossip and full of the exaggerations, opinions and bias that brings. But that doesn't mean that the whole thing should just be dismissed and I doubt very much someone would go to all that trouble to write about it otherwise. I think those that dismiss it too easily are hung up on it all being 100% nailed on the wall truth and everything has to be black or white. If you asked me about my boss, then I could quite happily tell you negatives and you would go away getting the impression I was unhappy in my job, but that's not true. I am happy overall. I just told you the negatives
If the media are reporting accurately (yeah I know the media) most of Everton's transfer targets, that I have read about, are late 20s, and would have no sell on value. Not a good business plan, if true, and won't generate income from future sales. Plus, they would have to change the pre match music from Z Cars to the theme from Dad's Army.
Good luck, mate - jet-lag's a bitch ....... I once fell asleep in a restaurant in Sydney in the middle of a conversation ......
