This is making me really nervous, it looked like they were going to sell. Now they might not? Even when they're passive they're able to piss us off, it's uncanny.

Maybe there's a fear that membership applications will drop when we find out who the new owners are, so they want the current regime in place for a bit yet. :bandit:

Personally I think Nostradamus Filey should take a bow, after all he predicted the Allam's current move if we got promoted to the PL. Our promotion is certainly beginning to have a feeling of bitter sweet now.

****s!

Personally, I want to see more than a vague article in the HDM before I'm convinced that they're either staying or going.

Very odd, black and white view you have there.

I'm a member of HCST, very much in the "Allam out" camp (though it took me a long time to move from the "Allam for the love of god just end the madness" camp) and as you know I'm dead against any form of AP return for the reasons stated above.

Again, although I'm dead against AP (he'll sack Steve Bruce, ban Hernandez and then say whatever you want to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside), I think the bigger issue for most people is why are we looking to the past? Do we really not have any foresight and to look further than man who's glory days were in the lower leagues? We're not "little old Hull City" any more, we're the 30th biggest club in the world in terms of income (I think that's right?) and we need people who know what they're doing in a large, global market (whilst also not alienating the core, local market. Allam.). I'm sorry, but I don't really trust a guy who's had two attempts at the PL and failed both times, and is now operating in the tiny market of Rugby League. He'd be out of his depth and if his second run wasn't enough for you to turn on him (and Christ knows why it wasn't) then his third certainly will be. When we're back in the Championship with Dean Windass as manager because "the fans might like that".

Don't make me get the ****ing picture out.

That's all fine. I'm not going to argue with you about that. My comment was aimed at well, pretty much everyone but you. Your Pearson thing and the reasoning behind it is an exceptional case.

The problem for Ehab is his father's legacy. If Hull City's fortunes take a dive as he takes £80 million out of the club that will be what the Allams will be remembered for. At the minute the legacy that matters to them is 2 promotions, a FA Cup final and a European campaign. If Ehab stays he'd want to show the world that he's has good as his father if not better.

It's fairly obvious he's not that bothered about legacy, he's deliberately pissing everyone off as often as possible.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with Pearson being the face of an investment group.
He certainly knows more about football than the current incumbents, and would surely reverse the branding and membership scheme.
