I think they thought putting it up for sale would worry us. Now they've realised it's exactly what we wanted them to do.Why put the club up for sale
It's all posturing , it's all they do and we're all bored of it

The new owners plan was 'to make Hull City one of the 10 richest clubs in the country'.
how do we think Bruce's position stands if Ehab stays to run the circus?
Personally I think Nostradamus Filey should take a bow, after all he predicted the Allam's current move if we got promoted to the PL. Our promotion is certainly beginning to have a feeling of bitter sweet now.
****s!
Not me!!!And there were all those people who said promotion was much more likely to result in a takeover.
Who said that again...?
Too right - all that is happening at the moment is speculation upon speculation. Time will reveal all.Personally, I want to see more than a vague article in the HDM before I'm convinced that they're either staying or going.

True.
Plus, even with their takeover in 2010, wasn’t it reported that the deal was off just prior to it being confirmed?
Longest 24 hours in history this!![]()
Nor me, £170 million coming in and interest on the debt. Not me!!!
Very odd, black and white view you have there.
I'm a member of HCST, very much in the "Allam out" camp (though it took me a long time to move from the "Allam for the love of god just end the madness" camp) and as you know I'm dead against any form of AP return for the reasons stated above.
Again, although I'm dead against AP (he'll sack Steve Bruce, ban Hernandez and then say whatever you want to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside), I think the bigger issue for most people is why are we looking to the past? Do we really not have any foresight and to look further than man who's glory days were in the lower leagues? We're not "little old Hull City" any more, we're the 30th biggest club in the world in terms of income (I think that's right?) and we need people who know what they're doing in a large, global market (whilst also not alienating the core, local market. Allam.). I'm sorry, but I don't really trust a guy who's had two attempts at the PL and failed both times, and is now operating in the tiny market of Rugby League. He'd be out of his depth and if his second run wasn't enough for you to turn on him (and Christ knows why it wasn't) then his third certainly will be. When we're back in the Championship with Dean Windass as manager because "the fans might like that".
Don't make me get the ****ing picture out.
The problem for Ehab is his father's legacy. If Hull City's fortunes take a dive as he takes £80 million out of the club that will be what the Allams will be remembered for. At the minute the legacy that matters to them is 2 promotions, a FA Cup final and a European campaign. If Ehab stays he'd want to show the world that he's has good as his father if not better.
