Stan Collymore (yes, I know) suggesting that we need a better CB than our Virgil, though the author questions that. Virgil has dreams of being a midfielder, so perhaps describing a CB as exciting is not the most relaxing description, but he brings a lot to the team. If you want a perfect CB who never drifts out of position and is always there to cover for others, perhaps Virgil isn't the one for you, but if you want a good CB who can get forward and may score, Virg is your man. I like solid players, but I also like someone with adventure in his soul...the ponytail also helps. :)

Three clean sheets on the trot....

Have serious doubts that he has actually watched VVD at all. Possibly one game, upon which he based his thoughts - Liverpool's battering of us in the League Cup.

I decided to go and find his comments on Call Collymore [broadcast last Saturday evening]. When you hear it, it doesn't sound as bad as it reads. He did a quick appraisal of the entire team, and before he started he must have looked down the list of players because he exclaimed "crikey, look at this side" in a tone of appreciation. He marked out Bertrand and Soares and Shane Long in particular as an extra special striker to come on as a substitute. And I think he got that right. Long will go back to the subs lineup when Pelle gets fully fit, depending upon the opposition. He also had a Saints supporter on the other end of the phone, who actually had a good grasp of the current situation and talked about Saints and not the opposition [so many of them just say whatever the radio presenter wants them to say], so all in all it was worth seeking out. It didn't take more than a few seconds to find it anyhow.

An advert...and I still don't know what OctaFX is or does. Isn't that a fail as an advert.

Ah, they are leaders in Forex trading..............nope, none the wiser. :)

I didn't know either, so here you go:

What is Forex? Forex, often abbreviated FX, is the market where currencies are traded. It is the largest, most liquid financial market in the world, and trades 24 hours a day, five and a half days per week.

Now we're both slightly wiser.

Just listened to Targett talking about how the new system suits him better than playing as a traditional RB. I'm pleased to see him back in the side and developing....pretty good to be a candidate for January best player. He says he's moved into the first team dressing room this season.....he has played before this season of course, so presumably he has his own cubby hole now....whereas before he just moved into the first team dressing room if he was playing. Or is the dressing room different from the changing room?

Just realised he must mean at the training ground.

Have you seen the video which features U21 coach Martin Hunter pointing out the dressing room progression to the first team.?

I sometimes write in a stream of consciousness style....otherwise known as rabbiting on. :) I realised what he meant, but I prefer to add bits on rather than rewrite in case someone saw the original, commented and looked daft.

I went to a talk on how to trade forex.... Would only have cost me 3.5k to sign up for full training... <yikes>
