I loved him as well, but have forgotten why he left. Did we not want him or wasn't he interested?
We didn't try to keep him permanently, I believe. We had Chamberlain coming through and we signed Lee Barnard too.

Kreuger talking about how chilled everyone is about Koeman's contract....heard that before. I suppose the main thing is that (unlike players) it doesn't matter if the manager goes into his last season....rather have Koeman for next season than any compensation due under his contract. Ralph continues and says that the club is financially in a good place. Mentions that the number of non-footballing jobs have increased at the club because we need these people...which indicates how the club is growing.

List of one team players....of course, our Matty is in there. The difference is that he was a great player who stayed at an unfashionable club. Hardly a hardship to stay at Barcelona or Man U.

Just trying to remember where that snippet is from. I think it might be an mid-week evening or winter weekend match against Charlton Athletic. 3-2 to Saints. That's the winning goal celebration, if I'm not mistaken.

Pelle is injured, nothing more. He hasn't fallen down any pecking order. You might just as well say that Jay Rodriguez is out the door because he hasn't played regularly for nearly two years. Twaddle, as per usual.
