Signing a striker relies on the synopsis of Pelle and JRod over the next few weeks, that doesn't sound positive at all, leave it too late and we could miss out on the available talent.
 
I see the Daily Star is touting the headline "RK: splash the cash or I am off". RK in the interview implies we have a lack of ambition and that is affecting the attitude of the players - its also impacting on him as to whether to extend his contract or not.

Listen to the 2nd part of his interview...he said nothing like that (though I knew the press would read it as that). He said he would only stay where there was ambition, but added that up till this moment, Saints had showed ambition. Said it was too early and things would be discussed in the summer about plans for Saints. Nothing like a threat.

Said to someone only the other day that I'll be mildly surprised if we ever get a substantial fall of snow in Southampton again [in my lifetime]. Sure we'll get flurries and such, but substantial falls with lying snow and major disruption, like the rest of the country.? It's just too damn mild here most of the winter. We're just not like 95% of the rest of the UK here. Certainly nothing like Canada, that's for sure. If we get snow here everywhere else has it a foot deep or more. When I was a kid we had regular snow. Not anymore.

Of course we have 6-8 weeks of winter to go where anything freakish could happen. But when you consider we haven't even had a frost this winter.?
 
I was mulling over the OS Calendar curse, JRod and Shane Long in November, Pelle was on the December page, we start this year with Kelvin D and RonKo. Just saying!
