Celine Dion's husband René Angélil dies of throat cancer aged 73.
She's now lost her brother to cancer, two days later.
Cancer needs to **** off.
Dale Griffin, drummer for rock group Mott The Hoople, has died aged 67.
Personally I'd like January to RIP, too many people dying.
Hell froze over. May heaven defrost you . RIP.Glenn Frey, founding member and guitarist of the Eagles has died aged 67.
A lot of musicians who were in a similar era dropping in recent weeks.
Saw Mott The Hoople on their reunion tour a couple of years ago but unfortunately Dale's diagnosis of Alzheimer's meant that he was unable to play.

I was a fan from the age 12 (1972) and play MTH stuff in my band. He was a senior producer doing the great John Peel sessions during the time I was doing music sessions for the Beeb, though sadly I never got to meet him. Apparently a very lovely person as well as a great drummer (in my opinion) and later an excellent producer. Jeez Bowie then this...
