I think sometimes people take statements too literal LTL. I am not convinced anybody hates Clasie. Neither however have I been convinced by his performances to date - I am not saying he will not come good - but, to date, given all the hype about him when he joined - even making allowance for the injuries - I am underwhelmed - but hope becomes good.
Please stop saying things like "swallowed his pride"... it really is tedious. He picked the team he wanted and has now made changes. That is all. Pride or stubbornness not involved here.
I'm not blaming Clasie personally. I'm blaming us for purchasing him. We should have used that money and the Juanmi money to buy a better attacker instead.
It also wasn't a "shocking decision". It was one that worked fine but for a daft error. They created bugger all. We had five shots and a shedload of corners. Unfortunately we have nobody who's putting the ball in the onion bag right now.
A goal straight away with a much better system! Safe to say me being furious at 5-3-2 has been justified immediately.
Exactly. I don't remember too many people complaining at the forwards available of Pelle, Long, Mane, Rodrigues, Tadic (wide forward) and this exciting new Spanish international.
There's no changing him. Of course he was going to write rubbish like that. He'd have slated Ron for not making changes or making changes. Given that Ron's use of substitutes has been very poor this season (at least in my view), he deserves nothing but credit this time. So far.
I think that is a Pochettino hangover as his system does not require wingers and he off loaded players like Puncheon here and Lennon at Spurs.
We skimped, we have plenty of money to spend. We could easily of got Clasie and 2 wide players and a forward. But chose not to.
