They might've been the first Star Wars things I ever saw. Not sure though.
I bloody loved them as a kid, but they're horrendous. Not the same level of horrible as the Holiday Special, but not great.
There watchable at best , the holiday special I had to turn off its that bad , I once read an article with George Lucas denying all knowledge of its exsistence it was that bad !
Close. He said if he had the time he'd go and destroy every single copy of it available.
This from the man who thought Jar Jar was a good choice.
I have changed the title as the trailer for Rogue One - A Star Wars Story comes out soon during the showing of Captain America Civil War. Lots of leaks have occurred, as well as leaks for Star Wars Episode VIII. Remember to use the spoiler tag when talking about leaks from either of these upcoming movies. Rouge One comes out December 16th and Episode VIII comes out the following December. The next movie after Episode VIII is going to be about a young Han Solo and casting for that movie is already going on. In case you are unaware Rogue One is about the rebel group that steals the plans for the first Death Star and occurs right before Episode IV.

Sorry Elle, as an online MMO gamer, in games with rogues, the number of times people type out rouge just gets my **** going. Red face powder? Really??

Mixing up rouge and rogue is as bad as their and there or your and you're IMO.
I'm looking forward to Rogue One a lot, by the sound of things it's going to put the Wars in Star Wars.
Also - anything with both Mad Mikkelsen and Ben Mendelsohn is going to be bloody superb.

You should have just started a new thread, because of all the talk about TFA.
It could get confusing like one of Ticklers digging up a 5 year thread about awesome new movies then putting in a new movie, but when you click on it, you're confused by the first post stating how great a movie is from 5 years ago.

Just a quick tag onto TFA & I just watched a couple of those YouTube posts about how TFA was **** because of the bits that have been mentioned in numerous bits all over the Internet & on here, how TFA is worse than Phantom Menace. Oh FFS, I noticed it too, but it didn't detract from seeing the movie, I also don't hate the prequels!
Well its really just a star wars thread, we can just keep changing the thread title. With at least 5 more movies and most likely 11 more movies coming out it could be the longest active thread by a lot. I can also edit the first post explaining that.
Where does the 11 come from? I'm very interested in this...
It probably won't be popular but I'd love to see more of the old Republic stuff. Basically anything chronologically before Revenge of the Sith would be ace.
I was really hoping for the Thrawn trilogy but it seems that Disney have thrown out the good with the bad. I'm still hoping that these new movies go & take some of that source into them!
They will definitely still take stuff from the old EU, and the Thrawn trilogy will be a certainty, it was the best thing from it.
Benicio Del Toro is playing a villain in Episode VIII - do not be surprised if it is Thrawn.
Disney were absolutely right to consider none of it canon anymore though - it restricted them so much and it was an illogical mess anyways.
The 11 more (12 total) is based off info from Disney that they intend or have stated they want to make. It basically works like this which is that every other year there will be a continuation of the Star Wars (Skywalker centered) movies and then every other year a Star Wars Anthology/Stand alone movie. Everything up to the movie after Episode IX is guaranteed and the rest would be based off box office. Obviously the stand alone movies with the exception of the Han Solo one could change who its about at this stage. Clearly box office wont be a problem.

If you are interested in this stuff and leaks in general there is a star wars leaks reddit page that has photos from set, videos, scripts, casting calls, etc. A lot of it is BS but a lot of it is accurate as shown by what was in Episode VII and was leaked before hand.

None of those on that list are canon. And most are ****.
