Indeed. Some appear to be missing the relevance of gaining, or not, promotion this season. Everything could turn to total **** if we miss out, and with this squad we really shouldn't be looking as poor as we have done in our last three league games.
I fully understand why Bruce is still favoured as he has undoubtedly proven that he knows his way out of this division, however if he fails I dread to think of the possible/ probable consequences.
He has a proven reputation, but those things usually end up getting proven wrong at some point. Pulis has never been relegated from the Premier League, but that will change at some point.
While sacking a manager is often a lottery, you have to weigh up whether the risk is worth the reward. At Christmas, if we aren't heading in the right direction, then absolutely we should be making a change, but only to a manager with a good reputation. Somebody like Dean Smith or JFH would have been a risk for us, we need somebody with a solid reputation that's going to motivate and get the best out of our players.
