It is, I'm having a great time. "I'd only take a few Leicester players at Hull" "I'd take three Hull midfielders over Drinkwater" "Diame would get in the starting XI of 3/4 of Premier League clubs" You guys do crack me up
OLM, I've stated many times that I think you're a good poster and I'm not one to WUm on your board. If I've ever commented it's genuine and about football. But, some of the people arguing with each other on your board is embarrassing. Some of those winding you up here are only doing so as your lot make it so easy. If some of the Hull lot chilled out a bit (or a lot) there'd be good banter. I've posted some genuine comments on your board and it feels that as people on your board can't find anything to argue about, they just ignore it instead rather than have conversation. That's how it comes across
I think it's difficult when you just pop on and off our board, to know which posters to take seriously and which are just messing about. You'll regularly see 'stop been dosile ****' posted as a response, it's actually a running joke and the spelling errors are entirely deliberate, but anyone looking is unlikely to get it. We've got the busiest board on the site, so we're obviously going to have more of a mixed bag, but if you just ignore the ones who insult anyone from another board and converse reasonably, you shouldn't have any problems. Fosse manages to do so on a regular basis, though AKCJ manages to generate the opposite response.
How the **** can this thread get so many replies ? The game is over, who gives a ****, it´s history. Hull are going to get smashed in the next round & if we were still in, we´d more than likely get beat too so **** the lge cup talk about WBA....
Basically John, if you read their forum on a consistent basis, learn which posters are the idiots, work out all of their little "in" jokes, you may be able to filter out the bullshit posts quicker, and you may find some talk about football somewhere amongst the dross. Then, you may have a small chance of striking up a conversation with one of them about football, but again, you'll have to filter the replies where you'll be name-called and swore at... Hmm, can you think of anything better to do with your time? You may have the busiest board on the site, but give me our board/posters over yours any day of the week
Hopefully won't see any more of them now. Good riddance. We should close the thread so as not to give them an excuse to crawl back Li ...and yet here you are....still, adding to the "pages and pages of inane ****e!!! Still, at least you can brag about having the "busiest board" on this site...... WOO HOO
Yep, I'd swap our Premier League position for the busiest board on Not606 any day of the week Unfortunately, "a busier board than the Leicester board" is the only thing they really have left to brag about... Bless!
Fettis, where did you go? I need some Friday afternoon entertainment... Let's hear your Leicester and Hull combined XI...
oh god Jack, don't give them any excuse to return....i think they have finally crawled back to their hole! Phew!
Ha apologies Miami, I needed some entertainment in my last hour at work. I thought hearing that David Meyler was better than Inler would see me through
I wouldn't take half your players, if not only because they wouldn't fit into the system we'd play. They're hardly world beaters your lot, they're just in form. Vardy's rise, while meteoric, doesn't make him a world class player. How long did it take him to become a decent Premier League goalscorer? Nearly a full season? He's doing well and I hope he keeps it up. It's obviously going to be bias, we see our players every game and we know their capabilities just like you lot do yours. But hell, it's Friday night. Looking at our back line, I wouldn't take a single one of your lot, Dawson and Davies easily trump them and Robertson and Moses are two of the best up and coming full backs in the division. I'd take Kasper over McGregor, but only just, I've seen Kasper have **** games (granted not as many, which is why he shades it). Midfield wise, I've always rated Dyer (Nathan, not Lloyd obviously.) so I'd have him over Clucas, but I'd take Livermore over Drinks and Kante would probably do it for me over Meyler because I think Meyler lacks techincal ability. Elmo over Albrighton every day of the week. Up front. Hernandez in form, Chuba in form. Vardy in form. Tough call. Vardy has the experience over Chuba so he'd probably edge it. There you are, I eagerly await your response in which you disagree with everything I've said because we got relegated and you haven't yet. Come on, let's get it out the way...
Genuinely can't tell if you're being serious, or on the wind... Robertson over Fuchs and Schlupp? Oh my, I'm in tears Livermore over Drinkwater? Kante only "just" over Meyler? It just gets better... Hang on, does that mean you'd take Meyler over Inler? Please tell me you would Up front, you're saying it's a tough call? If you won't even take the leading scorer in the Premier League in your squad, you've got no hope Honestly, for me, I'd arguably take Dawson or Davies over Morgan (at a push), and we need a RB, so maybe Elmo... You deserved to get relegated last season, we're 5th in the Premier League... You're unbelievably deluded to think that your squad is anywhere close to ours at this moment If you asked 100 neutral fans to make a combined Hull and Leicester XI, I'd guess that close to 0% of them would think "Oh I really can't decide up front between Vardy and Chuba" Still, whether you were intending to WUM or not, it was a fun read. Thanks.
Yes. Robertson over both of them. Easily. 100%. Livermore over Drinkwater. Yup, everyday of the week. I've watched both players a lot and it's not a difficult decision. I didn't say Meyler only just, I said probably. Meyler's got 2 in 2 in the league and is on form, it doesn't mean he's got the ability. Would I have him over the Swiss captain? Of course not. Morgan is no more a Premier League standard centre half than he is a ****ing pineapple, he plays in the Premier League, that's it. It's like saying Proschwitz was Premier League level because he played a game in it once. At a push, **** me, it'd be a tickle at best. We haven't been playing Elmo at RB, he's been playing RW and looks far more effective; he isn't an out and out RB. Odubajo is far more comfortable there. Well up front we have Hernandez banging them in and Akpom playing off him, it's effective and working for our team. Aside from the fact that I don't think Vardy is as good as you lot make out (which is ironic as you point out the same thing in Harry Kane), he just wouldn't fit into our way of playing. Most of our attacking opportunities come from the wide areas and Vardy seems to play down the middle. So saying I'd take him just because he's scoring goals is ridiculous; we have a poster on our board who looks at a striker's goalscoring record and that's it, whereas your normal football fan would look at it pragmatically and consider their contribution to the overall game. If we plonk Vardy into our team, I don't think he'd be very effective, so on that basis, I'd keep the two that are working for us. There's no way we'd have got relegated last season had our injury problems not been as bad as they were, we lost our key players at the worst possible time and it didn't help that Brucey kept persisting with the same crappy tactics. Obviously it's difficult to compare the two when we aren't in the same league, but
