Fact is he was injured for the most part last season and didn't make a lasting impression in the games he did play when he was fit. This is why he's slumming it in Hull <ok>

The only side to be interested was apparently Villa. Villa are currently bottom of the Premier League. None of the other 19 teams were even slightly bothered, certainly not this elusive 3/4s of the league.

I'm not saying he's necessarily a bad player, but I he's not as good as you claim. I think he'd get into the matchday squads of about 4/5 teams and in the the starting line up of probably 2.

The bit in bold shows, more than ever, that you don't have a clue.

He scored 4 goals in his first 5 games, and was injured in his sixth game.

If that's not making an impression then you expect a lot of your central midfielders.

As I have said umpteen times, you're welcome to think that, I'm not going to agree with you though because that would make me wrong.

Absolutely, in those cases those players were not injured. What is your point? <laugh>

Point is, you're citing players who were transferred despite being injury prone, in relation to a player who was actually injured. Your examples had literally no relevance to the case in point.

Diame couldn't go anywhere in the summer as he wouldn't have passed a medical, at least not until Deadline Day anyway, CSM.

Do you think a player would fail a medical if he had the flu?

Diame, like you said, played a football match four days before deadline day so what is your point and how are my examples irrelevant?

4 goals in 5 games? Makes you wonder why nobody wants him!!!

Diame had been out for 11 months. He played less than an hour of football in a cup game against Rochdale.

If you were a manager, wouldn't you have a few doubts over his fitness and and injury condition?

Some players never reach the heights they played at prior to an injury after being sidelined for that amount of time with an injury that serious.

This whole thing is very tedious.

I'm not his agent, if you don't rate him you don't rate him, doesn't bother me.

I'm not saying that I don't rate him. I think he's a decent Championship/relegation fodder Premier League player whose career has been hampered by injuries.

I just think you're talking some serious bollocks to suggest he could get into the squads of all but 5 Premier League teams.

I think he could get into 1/4 myself.

I would have doubts as a fan but as Premier League teams have shown, they're not really bothered providing they're good enough.

I think the same of Jamie Vardy but there you go.

Except for the injuries.

And Diame has never racially abused a Japanese casino goer (as far as I know).

I wouldnt take Hull's medical staff seriously

When they had Martyn Waghorn they thought he had a minor injury but we found out he had tore his hamstring off the bone

Also they pulled out of signing Charlie Austin because he was a "ticking timebomb"

And how did that turn out?

Plus the reckon Kasper is only worth £1.5M.

Just looked on the match day thread from our game on their board and came straight off as the last 6 pages or so are arguing and bitching between themselves! Not an AKCJ to be seen!

It's all they do, their board is a joke.

Just pages and pages of grown men arguing about nothing at all, swearing and calling eachother names.

Quite sad really.

Yep Alan McGregor was always going to be the better keeper <laugh>

Christ, do you remember when the mighty Hull Tiggers bid £1.5m for Kasper, came on here giving it the big one saying he'd definitely sign as they were Premier League.. And then signed McGregor and told us he was better anyway <doh>
