I once did a Sunday dinner pie with the leftovers and it was ****ing lush, chicken, stuffing, tatties, cabbage, carrots and gravy, the works. It was a right Desperate Dan pie but tasted lush mate.

A whole thread on pies and not one mention of a pork pie.

Truely the king of kings in the pie kingdom.

Pork pies are utter dog food, what the **** is that jelly stuff?

I'd sooner scoop out the contents of a u-bend and put that in a pie.

Bet you love celery pies though.

    What is that jelly stuff?

Did you know proper gelatine is boiled down pig trotters. Yum yum.

Do you also turn your nose up at pork crackling and chicken skin?

    The best bits.

The only thing for a pork pie is English mustard and a bit of salt :)

Tell me about it pal, I've been in a downward spiral of Pizza and Haribo for about 3 weeks now... feeling awful but **** it, I don't have the motivation to change with Xmas and all that good food just around the corner.

M&S pork pies with real ale chutney topping are bloody GORGEOUS (yes @Gordon Armstrong - gorgeous!!! <laugh><ok>)

Hardly any jelly **** either TJ.

I occasionally take a few for the lads down at the local when the footy's on on a Sunday.

But pies hate me and usually get their own back a few hours later :(<wah>

    Do foreigners eat pies?

What about Germans? I bet they have a bratwurst pie.

Anybody like a Cottage Pie or Shepherd's Pie?

    I'm hungry now.
