Bloody hell lads. We think we can complain because we have waited a billion windows for two cbs and have only got one in... You guys have been waiting on a DM and a striker since Viera and Henry left!

Still least you aren't tapping up ****s like Spurs are.

Jeremy Peace "martial, unproven talent got 36 million, what's your offer for a proven striker?"
Levy "20 million and a Freddo?"

    Talk about cheapfucks

I bloody hope there are boos and the fans turn on Wenger, the man is a disgrace at the moment, and has no business being our manager anymore, I hope the atmosphere becomes as toxic as possible at the Emirates, enough is well and truly enough with Wenger and this club and how they have treated us the fans.

Must make the players wonder if Wenger shares their ambitions.

That's why a lot of our top players left us including Henry. Say what you want but the last decent Arsenal side we had since we last won the league was the 07/08 team. We finished four points off a CL winning Man Utd team with a peak Ronaldo.

I mean, how did we fall so far from that season? That team was amazing and we were still paying off our stadium debt.

People will say a lot of our Stars left for money but let's be honest, the ambition clearly isn't there to compete at the very top.

Arsene is told he can spend money and makes ONE signing? Either Arsenal can no longer attract top stars (which Özil and Sanchez signings prove to be untrue) or Arsene is just being extremely stubborn. Other clubs have signed top strikers over the past 3/5 years and we still haven't replaced Henry or Van Persie?

    Unacceptable.

Even giroud came out and said we should have signed benzema. The players know we needed signings but as usual wenger does nothing.

At the end of the day nothing is going to change until wenger leaves it's become painfully obvious that he is not willing to change his failed methods. This is not the first time wenger has done this and it wont be the last as long as he remains our manager.

I can't understand how anyone can still support wenger. I cannot stand him anymore. The day he goes I will be celebrating.

Cini gave an excellent answer to that question, these people are just simply afraid of change.

    Good idea.
Now that you finally have a decent kitty for buying a decent team, just decide that players cost too much now and stop buying players!
Maybe you can put up flyers in the local pubs see if people will volunteer for free to play for you.
Or maybe you can try to be the first PL title winners made up purely of academy players and bosmans <ok>

I support Wenger and I'm not afraid of change so I refute that. This morning I had cereal for work, yesterday toast and the day before that a croissant. Thus proof Cini is full of sh*t.

The thing that bugs me is our squad is soo close.

I would have taken RVP back - even at 32 he's still an improvement on Giroud.

Wenger seems to overate the players we have. Cant find an improvement on Giroud REALLY?.. The issue now that we have money is still the same as before.

Wenger doesn't like spending it. In fact he has real deep seated issues with the way the game changed. I've written a few articles about this before.

There's no doubt that if we had just chucked cash .. at Benzema, Ibra, Higuain, Cavani etrc.. early on in the transfer window we could have landed one of them.

I think this is the strongest squad we've had in years where we actually have decent cover for every position.

    Goal - Cech/Ospina
    LB - Monreal/Gibbs
    RB - Bellerin/Debuchy/Chambers
    CB - Merts/Koscielny/Gabriel/Chambers
    DM - Coquelin/Arteta/Flamini
    CM/AM/LM/RM - Cazorla/Özil/Ramsey/Wilshere/Rosicky/AOC/Sanchez/Walcott/Arteta
    CF - Giroud/Welbeck/Walcott/Sanchez

That looks alright to me. Obviously this can be strengthened but I think this squad can challenge all comers once it finds it's feet. Clearly it's frustrating not to sign a forward but we were excellent for the last 6 months with what we have above and have added Petr Cech. I think we'll be alright again. I had us down to be top 3 again this year and still think we'll manage it, I just doubt we'll be contenders though.

We were excellent for the last 6 months and still came third.....So what makes you think a side that came third, can go on and challenge to win things when we have only signed one player, while our rivals, who did better than us, have signed more players, including some very top quality ones?

And your last sentence sums it all up, you're content to merely get top 3, and therein lies the difference. If you're a fan with no real ambition like Wenger, then everything's rosy.....But if you're a fan with ambition who wants to see your team win big trophies like the league or UCL, then obviously the state of things right now is not good at all.

Btw I like how you make things up too when you list our squad, Sanchez is not a striker, Walcott is not an out and out striker either, and Wellbeck only managed 3-4 league goals last year, lol and that doesn't look too bad to you.

And then we wonder why we're not going anywhere, lol, hilarious. What next? Yaya Sanago is the best young striker?

People like you try to create divisions in the fanbase, it's unpleasant and unneccesary. I love the club and want us to do well. If we compete on all levels then I'm happy. I think we missed an opportunity this transfer window but I look at some of the deals that have been made and am glad we're not part of it - it's horrific.

If we compete on all levels you're happy, but if we also just maintain our top 3, or top 4, you're happy at that too, so you don't really have much ambitions, just like the club, you're content with the invisible 4th placed trophy. And that's the difference between fans like you, and fans who want to see the club move forward. You enjoy your top 4, and Ill keep hoping for change.

And yes, we were part of mostly nothing this summer, not making even 1 outfield signing.....FYI you don't have to do a horrific deal to get one outfield player, you know just saying....But that's what it always is, Wenger fans try to excuse his lack of signings by trying to pretend that it's impossible or that you'd have to go way into the extreme to get a signing done, which isn't the case at all.
