Looks like he's used to getting crosses in from the right too, which when Elmo is on form seems our most likely point of attack
Suppose it depends what you call interest. It hardly sounded like city were fighting them off[/QUOTE]
Completely agree with you on that Bill. The guy looks very strong on the ball, unlike Hernandez, and has a good turn of speed, combined with an eye for goal. Seems hard to knock off the ball and could be a real handful to Championship defences. Looks like a good buy for 1.7 mill. Should combine well with young Akpom. Well done SB. Very happy we've kept Diame and Elmo and moved Jelavic on.
I heard it was Burnley, he's having his medical in Hull & sending the paperwork using Hull City fax machine so they can save some money on paper & electric.
Come on Peter, he's not the only one who's missed penalties under pressure...much better players have cocked-up. Prossies penalty that day was under severe pressure for someone who hadn't been on form at the end of that season. Remember these ? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...rom-roberto-baggio-to-diana-ross-9531657.html
IMO keeping Diame is our best business this summer. Best midfielder in the league by a mile when fit!
This ^^^^^. A great understanding between 'em. Do we have anyone on the books who'll do the same ? Maloney possibly. Could be exciting if they gel.
It was a crap penalty and why he took it I will never know. The only German who can't take a penalty and we had him!
