It looks like his footy career is over, he was crocked the whole season at Napoli, and we only have his word in the media that his ankle is now fine, if he was fit then his pimp of an agent would be blowing his trumpet all over Europe! The guy is history.......... <ok>

I'm slightly surprised at the animosity shown towards Michu when I've seen nothing that clearly explains what this falling out between the club and player is over, only what people reckon has happened...

Exactly, people are criticising the guy when there is sod all out there from him or the club, all we've got is speculation and innuendo which some are eating it all up.

The guy will be gone by the end of the window which is on Tuesday, if not then we shall see what happens next, probably a loan move to somewhere when that window opens.

Did we know Jager? First time there's been any mention in the press re: termination as far as I'm aware. Its also the first time its been suggested that BOTH parties would want this.

Its been a grey area, with little input from Michu or club, but now it seems the emphasis may be changing from [HASHTAG]#what[/HASHTAG] if? (he stays) to #£how much? (to get rid).

We wont just give him over £2m to sit on his arse in Spain that's for sure.....No club = return to the club.........No return = Termination of contract....He dont have any choice if he wants wages....<ok>

But the conundrum is that Swansea City seemingly don't want him to return/won't let him return if he can't find another club. (I did put "seemingly" in there). So what happens then???

That is a load of codswallop. The club has never ever said they dont want him or wont let him......fact......He had his chance like every other player to return for pre season and it was him that said he wanted to find another club and Swansea have done everything they can to assist him in doing that. If he dont get a club by the first of september then like monk says he remains a Swansea player and will have no choice other to return to Swansea or face termination and everything that en tales of a player with no club and no bargaining power to get a club......

A sad ending to a great player at his best for us, not sure whats happened fully between Laudrup leaving unsettled him ? girlfriend troubles ? and the injury that he does`nt seem able to recover from enough to get back to his best ? or his overall mental state / attitude ?
Its a dam shame whatever took him from one of the most loved at this club to an apparent outcast ! but its business at the end of the day so if he can no longer bang in the goals for us and fit in without dramas then its sad but he`s gotta go in a way that`s most beneficial to the club not himself maybe pay him up a deal or on loan till contract runs out if anyone wants or can afford him.
Whichever way things go Thanks for some great entertainment Mr Michu sir.

You're probably right that the club haven't said it directly. But at the same time you have to read between the lines....

Monk:
"He contributed in the seasons he was here but we've moved on now, the squad has moved on and it's about finding the right solution for himself and for the club."
"It's just about trying to come up with that solution that suits both parties."

As Sbulby suggests, I don't think finding a solution that suits both parties includes him returning to Swansea. If he agrees to a termination of his contract, all well and good but if not then the only outcome I foresee is that he remains a paid Swansea player...but not in Swansea.

He can still be a great player for someone if he is fit ...that's for sure. I have always thought that he may have had mental health issues and probably still has. I hope that he has sorted himself out as it will be a waste of talent......It is still possible he could play in the premiership, time will tell i suppose.....
