I work with and teach pupils who suffer from such illnesses on a daily basis. I'll dumb my posts down in future for you.
Just because we on here speculate that Michu looks to be suffering from a form of mental illness does not mean the media should report it nation wide. Would you not be depressed if your career has come to a halt I know i would but i would not want that broadcasted because of the stigma that wrongfully gets branded about by ignorance or understanding of mental illness. There are many forms and degrees of mental illness so that is why the media would not mention it. They could be sued to high heaven for printing something that only he and his medical team would know. We can only speculate and there is nothing wrong with that....
Typical jack ass response from the resident jack ass. I have also worked with mentally ill people, and been threatened by those suffering severe bouts of depression, etc. Two of my work colleagues were stabbed to death on home visits. So get off your horse. You know jack **** about it. As a teacher, you would make a good road sweeper. "Dumb" bstrd.
Could you explain the difference about a journalist publishing a fact on someones mental state and a group of posters on a web site , both are read widely and in the public domain. If you believe that it would be wrong for a paper ( including online papers ) and that they would potentially be sued for publishing what they believed to be correct information then wouldn't that same sense of injustice by Michu apply when his mental state is being questioned by an internet forum. Don't think for a minute that you ( as a poster ) can't get sued for what you post on an internet site because there are many cases of such actions occurring . If a paper publishes a fact such as someones medical condition and that information was in confidence then the person divulging the information is the one to worry, about unless of course to gain that information the recipient acted in an illegal manner such as black mail. to receive that information
Are you having a meltdown because you don't understand the purpose of the word 'personally' in a sentence? Personally = same meaning as imo. Keep up old chap.
Shame his ankle is an issue that is going to likely end his career, as for his mental issues, well I did post what I had been told earlier in this thread, which was that he had Asperger syndrome People with Asperger syndrome can find it harder to read the signals that most of us take for granted. This means they find it more difficult to communicate and interact with others which can lead to high levels of anxiety and confusion. Asperger syndrome is a form of autism, which is a lifelong disability that affects how a person makes sense of the world, processes information and relates to other people. Autism is often described as a 'spectrum disorder' because the condition affects people in many different ways and to varying degrees. Asperger syndrome is mostly a 'hidden disability'. This means that you can't tell that someone has the condition from their outward appearance. People with the condition have difficulties in three main areas. They are: social communication social interaction social imagination. They are often referred to as 'the triad of impairments' While there are similarities with autism, people with Asperger syndrome have fewer problems with speaking and are often of above average intelligence. It's my view as to why the club are being very patient with Michu, and I'm sure it will come to a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned, I do hope though that he does go on to play some where soon, he is far too talented to hang his boots up so soon, though it may well come down the his ankle issue in the end......................
