6 days left and he's still here,so if he's around in 148 hours,we can tell him get his arse back ,make him train in singleton park with a pink beach ball, whilst wearing a tutu, then if he refuses can we sue for breach of contract?
Before the window closes he'll be gone, so there will be no losing control of the situation

Forgive me for being a bit dense, but what has the transfer window got to do with this (other than being an opportunity to offload him, obviously).
What happens on September 2nd that makes everything so different?

So Michu continues claiming his £40,000 per week for another 12 months? How does the transfer window closing bring closure to the saga.
Yea but if he's forced to retire...It's an insurance pay out surely, and if not,we can make him return, and train on his own even, you never know,he might refuse,so he'd be in breach h of contract, anyway,I wouldn't make it easy for him by letting him sit at homeI'll tell you where I think this will end up:
- No club will come in for Michu before the transfer window closes (probably because he can't play any more)
- (we were probably very lucky to get him out to Napoli for a season)
- the club don't want him anywhere near Swansea
- therefore he will continue to take his £40k a week until his contract runs out with him sitting in Spain somewhere doing nothing
