6 days left and he's still here,so if he's around in 148 hours,we can tell him get his arse back ,make him train in singleton park with a pink beach ball, whilst wearing a tutu, then if he refuses can we sue for breach of contract?

Don't worry about michu he is irrelevant to this season now and the onus will move to jinx in a few days time and if michu has not put pen to paper by then with whoever then we will see jinx solve michu's situation for him one way or another.

and that's from a manager who has the same agent as Michu and from a club where the same agent already has three players playing there.

    Michu is:

Either taking the pish, looking to milk us for everything he can. If this is so then maybe that's why no club has, apparently, displayed any interest in him. They may see or think that he is dragging his feet, not because he wants to stay but because he wants to 'make a point'. Maybe clubs see that he maybe comes with 'attitude' and the indifference they currently display is simply a side effect of Michus actions.

    Or

I don't buy the above and as I've speculated in the past and the only explanation I see for this sorry saga is that Michu must be crocked. I personally don't think that he is able to play football at a decent level anymore. I personally think that because of this Michu will still with us post window.

    Note:
This post is speculation based on thoughts of others, media reports, insight, personal views and common sense.
This post is written as food for thought to be read in order to provoke response, discussion and or debate.
It is expected of those with differing views to express them, so they too can be added to the rivers of information flowing over this forum.
The biggest question ever asked and ever will be asked is WHY? Feed the debate and explain why you think as you do?

Forgive me for being a bit dense, but what has the transfer window got to do with this (other than being an opportunity to offload him, obviously).

What happens on September 2nd that makes everything so different?

He must be that crooked a scrap yard would turn him away :)

I have not got an ounce of sympathy for this prick.

It will loudly tell us what's actually been happening as well as bringing closure to the saga.

If Michu does go before the deadline, imo, would mean that Michu HAS been taking the pish and HAS been milking us right up to the last minute. In doing so he'll have missed pre-season with his new team as well as the start of the new season. Would make him look pretty amateur missing a key time of the year with his new team simply to milk a couple of extra pay days. We always try do all our business early so what's been taking so long with Michu? dragging his feet to milk a few extra pay days perhaps?

If Michu's still with us post deadline then, imo, that would mean that no club wants him. Why is that, he used to be a superstar so what is stopping him being one again with another club? The only reasonable explanation for this, imo, would be that Michu is crocked. If he wasn't then so many clubs would want him. At this point in time they don't, I wonder why that is?

So Michu continues claiming his £40,000 per week for another 12 months? How does the transfer window closing bring closure to the saga.

Sorry Aswan, what I meant was closure of the debate surrounding Michu, is he isn't he? why still here? why no clubs want him?

If he does go, near(er) the deadline then we can say that it would appear that Michu's been dragging his feet and milking us.

However if he's still with us Sept 2 then, imo, that pays credence to him being crocked. Too crocked for any club, any at all, to show interest in this world class striker of just two years ago. Some may have passed a cursory glance over him but so far none has made a firm offer. That's what's been driving me nuts, not a steering wheel down my pants by the way.

Why would clubs not want a player of Michus' world class talents and abilities? Maybe they don't think he has them any more?

Zero clubs want Michu, that strike me as very odd? they must be aware of something the rest of us aren't and as Michu has no issues outside of the game then the issue must be football related. The only thing serious enough for clubs to turn away from world class players is the players fitness, hence me speculating that he's crocked.

It doesn't keep me awake at nights but its certainly a worthy question, why does no club on the planet, including Russian who'd sign an amputee if they thought he could score a goal, want to pay for Michu?

Because he will have to return to the club and train and if he is crocked he will be under our doctor for assessment......he cant go to any other club and we learned a big lesson of letting someone stay in their own country under a private doctor........That cost us over a million quid so jinx wont allow that to happen again. He will want michu under our control with our doctors who will assess him, we dont know the truth about anything until the window closes and he has no choice than to return to see out his contract.....for all we know in he is injured we may be forced to retire him and pay him off.......there is a lot of questions that need to be answered and that time is a few days from now when he cant hide anymore....

I'll tell you where I think this will end up:
    • No club will come in for Michu before the transfer window closes (probably because he can't play any more)
    • (we were probably very lucky to get him out to Napoli for a season)
    • the club don't want him anywhere near Swansea
    • therefore he will continue to take his £40k a week until his contract runs out with him sitting in Spain somewhere doing nothing

Yea but if he's forced to retire...It's an insurance pay out surely, and if not,we can make him return, and train on his own even, you never know,he might refuse,so he'd be in breach h of contract, anyway,I wouldn't make it easy for him by letting him sit at home

Fifa wont allow that to happen, Suarez was forced back to liverpool and jinx wont give over £2m+ as a freebie that you can count on. Suarez was forced to train on his own for a long time before he relented and he was cock sure he would never play for liverpool again......A contract is a contract im afraid and if he wont come back then we have the right to terminate his contract.......once you give in it will open the floodgates for anyone else who has a gripe with the club....

I think your close to the truth there aswan. We could well end up being lumbered.

But that will depends on things like, when did he get 'injured'? speculating again, I think there's a story there.

If you think about it, all of his alleged training field antics, his poor form, his injury, his request to return to Spain for treatment, his refusal to play for Monk and his request to leave for Roma all began the moment he got his big, well paid, shiny, improved, new contract.

So me being me have to ask, if Michu is injured then, how did he get injured in the first place? how long has he been injured for? how long has he known about this issue? did he disclose everything when he signed for us on either occasion?

Just a few questions I'd ask just for closure and to see where the answers lead us.

I got another one too, why's Laudrup in Qatar? You'd assume he'd have gone back to Denmark with a Danish club or National Squad, why isn't he in Europe? He says he's a top manager capable of successful managing Barca, Madrid or top 4 in the Prem, so why is he in Qatar? I don't get it
