Same, Dave looks comfortable bringing the ball infield as well as going round the outside and seems a more modern player. Elmo can only really play on the touchline, rarely beats a man coming inside or does much of note as we've seen in all four games this season where he's been playing strangely almost centrally.
Hudd and Jela will be gone by September, it's pretty inevitable. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later but actually I don't care, I just want them gone now
I wouldn't drop Elmo. He's reliable as ****. We should just let him do what he was doing for three years before Bruce moved him central just to accommodate Odubajo.
I wouldn't drop Elmo I'd just play Dave in a more advanced position, anyhow it'll keep Elmo on his toes
The problem is that Elmo has been used basically as a RB since he's been here, so now he's probably confused when to get forward & when he should stay back & cover Moses! Also I was expecting a player with a name like Moses to be waving his hand & parting the opposition right down the middle!

I don't recall him signing a new deal in the PL, so I doubt he has a release clause. He's out of contract at the end of the season, £4m would be effectively doubling our money and give us a bit more wiggle room in the transfer market. Plus we have Moses, Taylor and Lenihan as cover for the RB and Snodgrass, Aluko and the incoming Maloney who can play RM. If the right offer comes in I don't think we'll stand in his way if he wants to talk to them.
Prices have doubled since we signed Elmo, selling him for £4m would effectively just see us getting a refund.
Brady's deal was also up at the end of the season. We should play hardball, every ****er seems to do it to us
I have posted this already....Diame is going to Villa, the only reason City are wanting to play him is to prove his fitness, if they didn't want to move him on they would hold him back ten days. I have been one of the supporters that hasn't commented on the Allam's and Bruce situation until now. I have to say the way the Club and SB are promoting these 'contractual clauses' and encouraging other teams to bid for our players is quite disgusting and disrespectful to those fans who have bought season passes under very different understanding . When the season passes went on general release the fans where told that there wouldn't be a fire sale, only then to be told if players go it is out of their hands!? Surely they knew this all along so why didn't they tell the fans this from the start.....because it would have a detrimental effect on season passes! They must think that the supporters are completely stupid and can't see what is actually going on? Hardly any of the money that has been made from the sales of our top players has been reinvested, the fans are then told the club have to sell more players before they can replace! It's complete b*llocks why don't they use the money from current sales to incentivise the players they want to keep (if they are prepared to stay) and fight it out in the Championship for 9 months. Lets be honest even our best players will at best be playing for mid to low level premier league clubs with the constant threat of relegation into the Championship anyway? After supporting City for 37 years I'm getting to the stage where I cannot support the Club while these clowns are involved and pulling the strings
