I put him in bold text with the suggestion he could be swapped with Hayden. But I'm not totally convinced by him yet.
Hes a passenger cant afford to have them if were to be promoted, drop him and put somebody in who can be arsed same goes for elmo whos looked disinterested too often
I wouldn't be to disappointed if Tom moved on. He won't be missed. Just hope its one of our rivals that picks him up
If he carries on the way he's playing currently, then I'd definitely like to see him go to one of our rivals.
He was **** all last season, and it looks like things haven't changed. I just wonder if he'll do another pathetic tackle just before Christmas to have the festive season off again, and enjoy his pudding
That really was unforgivable, however, no thanks to his actions, we picked up some very welcome points whilst he was suspended. What was even more unforgivable was Bruce seemingly not recognising this and putting him straight back in the starting eleven as soon as his suspension had been served, and that must have been noted by other members of the squad, Quinny etc.
Biggest gripe of last season about bruce having players who were undroppable mainly huddlestone, livermore and mcgregor who were all woefully out of form, Two are doing the same this year in the league below and are still picked, youd think we'd sign replacements and get rid
Unreal eh , i dont know if harper wanted the release but even so surely a replacement should of been signed, i mentioned earlier in this thread our transfer business has been amateur not signing a goalkeeper as well as the allams waiting a week u til season start to discuss transfer plans was a joke really, brucie needs to get a grip and stop being blindingly loyal to the players and start acting like a manager who needs performances and results seems more of a father figure to some than a manager of hull city Think our recruitment strategy needs a massive look at too
I'd go as far as to say that if we don't replace McGregor with someone like Bentley we'll not achieve promotion this season, and there's no point in going for the cheap option in such a critical position. To have only McGregor and Jak available at the root of the spine of the team would be entertainingly amusing if it wasn't for the fact that I'm a City supporter!
Have a feeling that if Diame comes through his run out tonight and plays some part on Saturday , he'll be gone I'm sure some bottom half PL will come in at the 11th hour and take a gamble on him and his fitness .
I think some people fail to comprehend the fact that we got relegated, and with relegation comes an enormous loss of revenue. Cost cutting measures have to be taken. Jak is still under contract, Harper wasn't. Who would take Jak off us for any sort of half decent wage like he'd be getting here? The **** up there was giving Jak a new contract for some reason when he proved in his first year that he's absolute dog ****.
The problem with that argument is that we got rid of Rosie, bought Dave for £3.5M and brought Taylor in then decided to play 4-4-2. The more sensible option, and more pressing as far as I'm concerned would have been to have got Bentley in to replace McGregor, retained Rosie, played him at right back, and leave Elmo on the wing which wouldn't have confused the **** out of him, and that would have produced cost savings.
Were a like minded bunch then arnt we jolly good Noticed during the wolves game how much more composed on the ball odubajo was to elmo, who seems to be another whos lost abit of interest time to freshen up get rid of the dead wood
I'd play Dave on the wing and Elmo behind anyhow, less holes that Dave will leave but more direct, if it's not working and the opposition seem susceptible to crosses swap them back over
