We have Huddlestone, Hayden, Meyler and then Diame back next week. We then potentially have Livermore back at some point too. Then we also have Dixon pushing for a spot. One more wouldn't hurt though.

Not necessarily - maybe Foster's injury is worse than West Brom first thought. And even if they do sign Marshall it might be just to push Myhill. Bo has the gloves at the moment and WBA must rate him or they wouldn't have given him a new contract recently. Unless he starts making Mcgregor like errors I can't see him going anywhere.

You're a waste of ether, one more tedious, utterly pointless post following Vern's and you're out of here.

    What about Snodgrass - he's a midfielder?

Not necessarily a natural central one.

I know he scored a goal but Aluko looked better in midfield last night...had all the time in the world to pick out a pass.

Though he obviously normally plays as a winger, he has in the past played centrally just behind the strikers.

Just a thought, but if you banned Vern, Karl couldn't carry this on.

Lower Premier League clubs pay £5m to £10m for squad players now. We should be willing to pay that for our star striker. I know we may lose a few players so it shouldn't affect FFP. Get Gray and Bentley at the very least!

I doubt whether Snodgrass will come back the same player. I hope I am proved to be wrong.

The injury he suffered sounds horrendous

It must be a nightmare being Steve Bruce at the minute.
His head must be spinning wondering which way to turn.

Andre Gray: Hull City boss Steve Bruce rules out striker signing

Hull City boss Steve Bruce says the club have given up on signing Brentford striker Andre Gray.
Bristol City had a £9m bid for the 24-year-old accepted on Tuesday, but the striker has not yet agreed terms.
"It's pretty straightforward, we have not matched their valuation. It's frustrating but that is football management," Bruce told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I think he'd be a terrific asset for us, but unfortunately it is not to be."
Gray scored 18 goals last term as Brentford reached the Championship play-offs and Bruce added: "We've chased him for a long, long time, but we have not matched what Bristol have offered. We've known the price all along."
Bruce also confirmed after his side's 2-1 win over Fulham on Wednesday that the club are interested in signing Crystal Palace's Dwight Gayle.
Gayle, who previously turned down a move to Bristol City, is thought to be valued at around £8m by the Eagles.
"He's a good player, but whether we can afford him I don't know. We've made an enquiry," he said.
Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill told BBC Radio Bristol on Wednesday there was "nothing to add" regarding their pursuit of Gray as they look to bolster their attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
The Robins earned their first point of the Championship season against Leeds United on Wednesday, but a deal for the former Luton forward is not thought to be imminent.

Many more twists and turns on this one. I must be honest I would not be too disappointed if this didn't happen.

I recall the same hype with Hernandez and the German lad

The quotes from Bruce to Humberside sounded like posturing to the board more than anything. Grey has turned them down as he's hanging on with us. Lets see what happens over the next week or so.

I was impressed by Hernandez last night a season in champ could do him the world of good. The first half performance was great. attacking fullbacks skillfull strikers really exiting stuff.
