DM article today says Charlie Austin has a wage reduction in place.

Couldn't it be the £15m?So he doesn't have a buy out? We as a club must have been naive then to have half the squad with buy out clauses.

I think we will lose 3/4 of the current squad in the next 2 weeks
Don't we need a goalkeeper in case one is injured or is it an emergency loan?I think two is probable. What is more important is who (or what) we bring in - we need, desperately, an hungry, focussed striker and a strong, workaholic creative midfielder. Everything else is window dressing.
That's why I asked, I don't recall other clubs having the buy out clauses that ours seem to have.
It's how we got them to sign in the first place. A virtual guarantee that they'd be able to leave if we got relegated.

No not really. We're ****ing useless really aren't we.
It's probably something that City needed to do to get quality players to come to Hull as opposed to playing in London. Whilst in retrospect we may not have got it right last season I don't think many fans were unhappy at the quality of players the club persuaded to join last summer. So he doesn't have a buy out? We as a club must have been naive then to have half the squad with buy out clauses.

Depends who you compare us to!Couldn't it be the £15m?
Defo a creative midfielderI think two is probable. What is more important is who (or what) we bring in - we need, desperately, an hungry, focussed striker and a strong, workaholic creative midfielder. Everything else is window dressing.

Premier league
FA Cup final.
Almost stayed up but for a late run by another team.
I'm happy, and in complete disagreement with you and many others on here who cast aspersions at the management of transfers.
We wouldn't all be able to fit into them.It would be a dull world if we all walked around wearing the same shoes.
Doubtful - earlier in the window they were talking higher figures than £15m for Charlie Austin. So at least QPR are still in control of if and when a player is sold.
