If we let doctors treat players when ever they feel like it, at any time during a football match, there would be chaos!
It's got to be down to the ref to decide when a player ought to be treated, and it's up to the manager to decide who, on his bench ought to do the treating. From one account I have seen, the Chelsea medical staff decided, off their own bat, to run on to the field to treat the player, without getting any sanction from the manager, and that meant that the player - Chelsea's striker - had to be removed from the field of play, leaving Chelsea with 9 men at a critical point in the match. Jose's rant was all to do with the tactical ineptitude of his staff, and the fact that they did not consult with him before making the decision to take to the field.
Again, I reiterate, people are blowing this entire episode out of proportion. Was Jose wrong to make such a public show of temper? Probably. Did anyone die? No. Is Jose a winner? All the way to his core.
Get over it, people. I'm sure the medical numpties who ran onto the pitch without checking with the manager, and making a potentially costly mistake for the entire team, have got over it.
The ref indicated for the medical staff to come on, so end of argument, you've just admitted that it is down to him, so I don't know why you keep going on and on and on.
