I'm optimistic that Huddlestone will stay. He came here to play games and I don't think he would be guranteed that at West Ham. If a PL team came in that could offer him 40 games a season I think he'd be off but at the moment I think he's settled
Just a quiet word, but you usually find that those who complain of being hunted (on here) usually start as inept hunters themselves, lending a reason to their peril. Someone else might consider your £2.2M argument a Straw man fallacy, they may be right on this occasion.
Especially when they have just had a big cut in their wages........ if they match his value he will be off.........
Because I think Huddlestone is too inconsistent for our purpose, he doesn't break up attacks and he creates too few for the wedge he is getting. Jelavic is either uninterested or properly out of sorts. Now is the time to ditch, the graveyard is full of indispensable players and I would rather spend another season building a better squad than be frustrated by Hudds sitting deep and contributing **** all.
Perhaps it is the act of trying to add these protective caveats that drags out the process and frustrates many? Unfortunately we end up dealing with the **** of newbies and mercenaries, yet treat faithful eservants with a hint of contempt.
Sunderland want rid, £2m has been quoted a few times in the press. They bought him for £3m And £4m is what Burnley are offering for Lansbury....although the forest lot seem a little sick of his big head apparently
