Yes, it was reported a while ago that his mother was ill and he wouldn't move this year. Good lad, sensible decision to stay near his mother. Hopefully she gets better and fancies some New Forest fresh air next summer.

Suarez would be a great signing for us, don't think it likely due to his age and that if he is available he will have better options
He was poor by poor standards. But if we buy him and kick start his career he will be a good signing.
Alderweireld was never poor for Atletico, they just have better defenders.
