yes hate is a strong word, but I think it can be used relatively in football. Do I want to see the said teams slip up every week and end up embarrassed by their opponents? Yes. Do I want to see a little turmoil in their club as the season goes on? Yes, again it's the pantomime villain piece. But would I get into a blind rage if the teams won or were doing well? No, things like that just aren't worth getting that angry about.
Hate is an active emotion. I don't even hate Dani Osvaldo, I just think he's a bellend. My feelings on this are very passive.
It's true to say that a fair amount of Pompey fans hate us, but we just dislike them because they hate us. I've disliked Leeds since the 70s and I got attacked by Arsenal fans so I don't like them much.
I dislike Man U purely because of there fans ,which newly all of which have never been to old Trafford. Also the pressure fergie put on refs and fa to gain advantages over everyone. Dislike Leeds, Ellen road is a library. Dislike spurs ever since when they pinched Hoddle.
Hate is indeed too strong a word but i do actively dislike: Pompey Dippers I'm largely indifferent to the rest although Spurs seem to be an ever present pain in the arse and Newcastle seem more like some sort of farcical imitation rather than an actual club.
I used to rally hate all that `first is first , and second in nowhere` arrogance Liverpool used to come away with. At the risk of incurring Laura`s ire, Rangers too. Hate all that sectarianism. Didn`t help getting a knife pulled on me many moons ago by a blue clad neandertal when I was 12 and selling tickets in the pub.
I hate no club. I probably don't even dislike a team. Now if you asked me managers I dislike then Rodgers is clearly one.
I actually can't bring myself to hate spurs. They're so bland and have no identity. They make me feel nothing. Its annoying that some good personell have left and gone there but hey ho.
I'm beginning to seriously dislike being lectured on the true nature of hatred by people who don't seem to recognise when something is obviously not meant to be taken seriously. Other than that, I don't like Millwall much. Their fans have obviously missed the fact that it's not the 1980s anymore.
Hate Derry City Rangers Strong Dislike Pompy(Can't hate them as much as most of ye not being from the area) Spurs Man U Liverpool
I neither love nor hate any other club. I just have this strong feeling of total indifference towards them. PS I don't hate Pompey; I just don't like the fact that they exist.
Do I just have to have 3? I could have comfortably about 9-10..mostly due to the fans rather than the club on most occasions (excluding Diverpool, where its fans and hierarchy) and the way in which they conduct themselves, along with their blind sighted/biased view of football.
