Thought I would pop over to your board to see how much discussion is going on about the man you don't care about... Clicked "Premier League"... YOU WEREN'T BLOODY THERE I was looking for a good few seconds 'an all... Made me chuckle
I was gutted last night when I heard the noise. I have been a massive Pearson fan, even the missus has accused me of having an affair with him but having time to think about it, had he taken us as far as he could? We will never know the answer this question, but I just hope we appoint a recognisable manager who CAN take us to the next level.
It's funny that you post things like this, as AKCJ has made more posts on our board, than every Hull City fan combined has made on yours.
I think OLM is making reference to the fact that your resident silly bastard is constantly on our board trying to get a rise. What goes around comes around.
I'm not complaining about anything. I just said I was going to pop over to your board to read your discussion about Pearson...
...care needed in that regard ... last rise that Messrs Hopper, Smith and Pearson Jnr got led to career changes ... and possibly not just or them
So winning 2 League titles, 2 play off campaigns and the great escape aren't facts? Im not going over old ground with you again as quite frankly is boring for everyone. But people who wanted him gone as they always say, be careful what you wish for because you have now got what you wanted
Dont think many wanted him gone Proud. Certainly our best football manager in recent years, but a little lacking in other areas. Certainly didnt want him gone - just to act a bit more professionally.
At the end of they day you have to remember if a manager didnt have flaws he wouldnt be managing Leicester City would he. He would be at Real Madrid or something I just find it incredibly stupid to sack Nigel. The players were all behind him, we just need to hope the new manager builds on Nigel's work and not so a Sousa/Sven and destroy it We have to use Southampton's model now and try and really push on
... not sure whether you deliberately misunderstand me at times ... yes the 2 (lower) league titles etc are indeed facts ... that they therefore 'make Nigel Pearson a legend' is not fact ... it is merely your assertion (opinion) / measure of what you personally feel constitutes legendary status ... ... as to being boring? ... perhaps it is ... but I don't recall the mandate that now allows you to speak for 'everyone' ... in regards to what is, or is not, indeed boring ... if you don't want 'further debate' on a subject then stop repeating old assertions i.e that Nigel Pearson is a club legend ... because clearly some of us don't see it that way ... but if you do feel the need to make such claims then be prepared for them to be debated on what is, after all, a platform for debate ... ... and your last sentence makes no sense whatsoever ... if those that wanted him gone wished for it, why would they need to be careful about their wishes ... because they have now errrrr ... got their wish? ... Finally - given that I personally advocated sticking with him this season throughout - it makes even less sense to put such comments in a response to a post of mine... but perhaps I'm just being picky now.
They all have to start somewhere and he may go on to do big things for someone else. He certainly has some very fine qualities, but if you piss off your boss in any walk of life there is usually only one end result. Dont think we will ever discover what went on in the boardroom, it will always be a matter of conjecture as I am sure our owners will not fully disclose everything.
The players returned today for pre season testing One lined used on the official site is the "clubs highly skilled medical and sports science staff". Don't they realise they will be gone soon, there Nigel's team. The more I think about it the more I think yesterday Vichai and Top was pissed off with something and had a rush of blood and sacked Nigel. According to the media Nigel didn't know nothing about a breakdown in the relationship and everything was normal as far as he was concerned. I hope the owners aren't regretting it now and they actually thought it though because there's no turning back this time
Here's something for people Statically Nigel Pearson is the most successful manager in our history http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/O...ly-Leicester/story-26815405-detail/story.html
