I'd expect Maguire to start often next year and with the core of the defence contracted for two years I am already confident that we will not get relegated next season. What a feeling eh? to go into a competitive league and probably not go down. Not used to having such confidence in July tbh. We shall soon know which way the wind is blowing and we have the small matter of the name change coming up as well as the council legal action over the Airco. Hull City Football Club do not need to get rid of all the players for financial reasons but there will be a few that we can't avoid losing. If they want to go, get shot of them. This thread is going to get busy.
Chris Wood Well this thread is 93 pages long and the transfer window only opened today, I'd say it already is very busy..
Not that I've seen, don't get me wrong, I'd take Chester and Dawson over Maguire any day, but I've noticed Maguire likes to take the ball forward, whereas the others would rather flick it upfield.

Well it looked like we could end up being in trouble even before Christmas so he needed better long term planning if that was his plan. Now Huddleston has less games on TV I wonder if we'll see even fewer good performances. The whole Diame thing pisses me off. Why is he gone if he is fit? Is he in the last year of his contract?
Because he's too good to play in the Championship. He's on massive wages. He won't be up for playing in the Championship. Take your pick.
Swansea look to be doing good business so far, I still fancy them make an offer on James Chester. Chessie is into his final year at City so we may be tempted if good money is offered.
Our kid gets on well with one of the lasses from the Club shop. Apparently any realistic offers will be considered for the players. Quinn is the first of quite a few to leave.
The people who work in the club shop don't even know what they've got in stock, never mind what our transfer policy is.
Spot on and totally agree with ^^^^^ this. Reading will do well to be top 10 this season. imo. It must be the sun though.!!!!!!
Reading seem to be going for it, they've already signed a decent looking striker from Legia Warsaw(Orlando Sá), Quinn and now McShane, they're also supposed to be bidding for ex-Tigers Myhill and Donaldson.
