He did and he was actually pretty good, he managed 10 goals in his debut season. His goalscoring record now is roodiculous (ha...), but that's probably down to the fact that he plays in the UAE. Still, 90 goals in 74 games is pretty decent. He did well with Zaki, I wish he'd shared his secret with Phil Brown.
I know it's a team game. But you can't really fault a winger/striker for an increase in goals conceded. It may have been defensive changes/injuries/form. So your devil's advocate for me doesn't apply. A young English winger that scores goals in this league, whereas goal scoring for us has been a perennial problem for a few years. Nah, sell him - we don't need or want to score goals.
