What utter garbage ^^^^^ this.

But as funny as hell.

Only people like you think that the club is run like simpletons.

Not until 6pm on the 1st September will we know - on paper at least - who has had a good transfer window.

For now it is a hissy fitters paradise.

You are a chick aren't you? ALL your posts are garbage.

But like many before him, we'll foolishly let him go. I am just staggered that the club let him go with this stupid clause in his contract for £4.75m. I mean, imagine him going there and playing really well and getting 11 goals in 18 games. Can you imagine the value of a player with that goals to games ratio being less than £8m? I can see why Derby want to sign him, they see City as being run by simpletons.

Playing devil's advocate slightly, Derby conceded 31 goals in those 18 games. I'm not saying they were all his fault but his presence at Derby coincided with a slide down the table.

What's that got to do with it? We - well you - were suggesting he has an apparent failure with strikers. Ok then, Zaki - a signing who nobody over here had heard of who did incredibly and then Bruce wasnt sacked.
He did ok with zaki, bent was totally different he was a proven goal scorer that just couldn't get in Spurs team. He just gave him a start, that's not rocket science
Did he sign asamoah gyan?

Yes I was suggesting he's been crap with his strikers here, surley you carnt put any spin on that to say otherwise, which Is probably why you brought other clubs into it

He did and he was actually pretty good, he managed 10 goals in his debut season. His goalscoring record now is roodiculous (ha...), but that's probably down to the fact that he plays in the UAE. Still, 90 goals in 74 games is pretty decent.

He did well with Zaki, I wish he'd shared his secret with Phil Brown.

That's what Roo expects from most strikers at the very least.

I know it's a team game. But you can't really fault a winger/striker for an increase in goals conceded.

It may have been defensive changes/injuries/form. So your devil's advocate for me doesn't apply.

A young English winger that scores goals in this league, whereas goal scoring for us has been a perennial problem for a few years. Nah, sell him - we don't need or want to score goals.
