Trippier still has to be an option even if Clyne stays, surely?
Sign trippier and heaton... loan thrm mugabi and Gazza?![]()
Looking at a few. Mugabi is fine at rb but needs more time. Problem with Byram is he would cost a fair bit of cash.
Too many people were saying Clyne was dead cert to leave ....
I'm hoping Mugabi will come to dictate our defence for many, many years to come....
Has anyone bid serious money yet for Morgan ?
I still checking under the sofa.
He's off. Done deal to Arsenal.
*says the man who knew Jay was off and Clyne too*

Or simply things change? It's not about being settled or not, it's about what you hear. Jay and Clyne both wanted to leave and that is fact. We owe it to Koeman and Reed that Jay and most probably Clyne changed their mind to stay. The fact is many players deals and minds are made up way before the end of the season. You only have to look at what happened around this time last year to see that. The Shaw deal was a done deal nearly a year before he actually moved. Yes papers say stuff that a lot of the time doesn't happen. But 99% of the time they don't simply make stuff up.P.s. Perhaps people will now stop believing all these 'done deals' posts. Even if moves subsequently happen, I doubt they are settled too early in the season. Managers will want to have a look round, but a lot can change over a season and affect player needs. Yes, you may always know you need Ronaldo or Messi, but generally there are always alternatives at the 'pretty good' player level.
I thought Albert Adomah was the stand-out player in last night's game at Middlesbrough - fast, skillful, good crosses and a great finish - if Middlesborough don't make it past Ipswich / Norwich well worth a bid!
