JDP like most mags seem to forget their pre Keegan history..

Late 70's, early 80's they got beat 0-4 off QPR at home.
Was a mid week game & 14 odd thousand turned up.

I mind on one time in the factory canteen there was a mug in the kitchen sink which was emblazoned with 'Newcastle United, Glory Days'.
Don't know who it belonged to but it couldn't be any ****er who worked there as nee **** was owld enough to remember it.

Hi somb. Can't argue with the record book (whatever it says - haven't looked). But the point remains valid. For over 20 years you've been more successful than us, albeit you have still won **** all, in true NE fashion. But you've been in the Prem for all but 1 season, or something like that, so you've picked up more new fans recently and haven't had to put up with half of what we have. Well, on the football pitch at least. Granted Fat Fred and Fat Mike have caused some consternation over the years at the Sports Direct Arena ;)

Stop being so ****ing reasonable man!

Kevin Keegan.
What can I say about him in a reflective way?
****ing coward who has walked out of every job he's ever had as a manager.
The mags twice, Fulham, England, Man ****ty.
Spineless bastard.
Personally, I hate the old bastard.
Weak as piss as a player & even weaker as a manager.

Don't forget Billy Keegan and Emlyn Hughes both been photographed kissing Thatcher.

Billy, his granda was a survivor of the Burns Pit disaster at Stanley, I used to work with his uncle, Geordie Keegan at RHP, he ran the great north run in a football kit made up of half Sunderland and half Newcastle strip, so there is a bit of local history. <ok>
