No doubt the number of arrests will grow over the next few days. Most of Newcastle is covered by cctv these days, apart from the cameras that the police have. Anyone wanting to cause trouble must be thick as s**t if they think they'll get away with it.

 

Amazing how much is covered by CCTV these days...Britain has by far and away the most CCTV cameras per person than anywhere else in the world..

 

I welcome it tbh. The only people who don't like it are those with something to hide.

I deal a lot with CCTV and the rules regarding how and what it is used are quite robust...

I have heard most trouble at he game, minimal as it was, was caused by a few Newcastle fans fighting each other. While it would be great to report no trouble of any kind at these events, it is nice to think that it is only a tiny minority thee days, who see anything other than shame in this sort of behavior.
