a) Why were you watching us in the championship? Obsessed much b) How did you come to the conclusion we played well? Because we got the most points? First half was scrappy as hell
I was there for every single Championship game, and quite honestly I don't ever remember seeing that many empty seats. Over the course of the season, we had more than 300,000 visitors to our home games than any other team, and double or triple most of those other teams, as well as the highest away following. Also... we averaged over 3000 more than your small town club, who I think were in the premier league, were they not? #win
But why would we have more? We're a small town club remember, you're a big city club remember, your words, you can claim victory on that, even if it is facile. We have a fantastic following, one I'm proud of, 6th best in the country. One that doesn't disgrace itself time and time again in media spotlight despite only averaging 8k in attendances less than their neighbours. Are those extra 8k your self allocated w**kers. #thisisnottwitteryouarenotrusselhoward
Some of us aren't 195, so maybe I just haven't sought to memorize attendance figures from back in your day?
Yes, Sunderland fans have never done anything bad, ever You haven't trashed a stadium's toilets or... "In 2008, after Sunderland beat Newcastle at home for the first time in 28 years, there was a small pitch invasion by Sunderland fans, and missiles were thrown at Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton, although manager Roy Keane played down the seriousness of the incident." or "On 16 January 2011 in the FA Premier League clash at the Stadium of Light, a 17 year old Sunderland fan ran onto the pitch and pushed over Newcastle goalkeeper Steve Harper, and was among 24 people who were arrested in connection with a string of hooligan incidents at the game." We've got more sad bastards who'll beat you up, make you spit your teeth out, and offer you a duel to the death, it's true, but we also have more fans like myself, who'll laugh at you lot and comprehensively outwit you We're just a bigger club. It happens. Just means whatever way you try and beat us, you'll lose, hence why you should leave it to 11 vs 11 on the pitch
You hit the nail on the head with small scale...Yes we have the odd idiot as the handful of people who entered the field of play show. However, this does not in any way, shape or form compare to the thousands of hooligans who have caused trouble at Skunk games going back generations..
I'm in the midst of writing a sitcom and a bit of material for a tour for 2015, you slut All whilst moving to the fair town of Sundy-land to become a ****er, or banker, they weren't specific . I'm not taking my Newcastle tops and ****, because whatever you lads say, I don't trust either set of fans not to have aggressive-drunken idiots!
