The worst one for cars going through red lights is Ferensway/Anlaby Road junction. As I'm coming up past Admiral of the Humber the cars coming from Ferensway and either turning right onto Anlaby road or going straight ahead are the worst. As I set off when my set is on green the cars are still coming through and nearly take me out. There will be a serious accident there soon. Mr Policeman could sit at that junction and just issue fine after fine all day every day.
I find it bizarre walking across that junction on foot. If I go across Carr Lane from outside Admiral to outside, erm, that hair salon or whatever it is, it's eeasy, seems to be permanently green. Then to get to the island in the middle of Ferensway is easy, again permanently green. But I don't think I've ever seen the next bit (towards ther big mirrory building) be green for crossing at all. I do it every day and always nearly kill myself trying to cross that bit on red with buses hurtling round in a big hurry to join the queue around the corner.
