Not sure what the pads are you're referring to TT, unless you're on about free-style with the gloves. They don't do that at our gym. The young'uns at our gym, they spend more time posing in the mirrors!

My youngest has also taken up cage-fighting as well. Was shocked when he did, he's as vain as ****, but some pole pole-axed him from behind in a night-club in Corby so he just wants to be ready the next time I guess.

Yeah, it's just sparring with the lads and a couple of girls that we let beat us up from time to time, MMA stuff and sometimes we just get one of the youngsters to get a set of protective pads on (on each limb!) so we can kick them round the gym! There's a few lads that take it very seriously competition wise and some of us (me) just like the body conditioning you get from it and obviously yeah you can look after yourself as a result.

My gym looks like a cross-fit type warehouse most of the time, rather than the typical Virgin Active style gyms.

It's all good fun, he'll love it no doubt.

No person convinced me either way (although I probably wouldn't pee on Salmond if he was on fire).

I looked at the issues and the Yes campaign gave no answers. I'd made up my mind long before the promise of more devolved powers and as someone else on here has said; if this leads to an overhaul of the UK political system it's long overdue. I just hope that overhaul happens without a break up of the UK.

Anyone else staying up to watch this?

I'm staying up for the results, so really hope it doesn't go to penalties!

I wonder if the TV companies will be giving their predictions as soon as the polling stations shut?

O/T fellas but it beggars belief that we have a 41 year old Latvian living in this country who is a convicted killer and who is a suspect in the disappearance of the 14 year old girl.

Heads should ****ing roll for this but of course we know they won't.

They reckon the results will be revealed at the Embassy. We'll see who the big Players are in the morning. I bet the no voters will be on a rollie.

I reckon you'll get your wish. I'm hoping for a yes but in the same way wont lose sleep over a No. Hope whatever the result it shakes things up a bit so that they realise hey can't ignore the regions like they do.

I've just had an Iron Bru, a Scotch Egg and a Haggis for tea before they end up in the foreign food aisle at Sainsbury's
