AJ and Rodwell are decent cast offs to get, far better than what we've had from United or Spurs!
No end product and couldn't last longer than an hour. Technically probably the most gifted I've seen at Sunderland but utterly ineffective for me and overrated as a result.
AJ goes missing but has a hand in or scores goals, a lot. Even off form. I'd prefer that myself.
Richards and Wes fit would be a brilliant pairing, complimenting each other perfectly.

Don't see Gus dropping JOS though, seeing as he's our captain.
Any CB brought in won't be viewed as starters imo, just players to play when Wes and John get a bit tired
I disagree, I think Gus sticks with JOS as there's nobody else ready to step in, his chronic lack of pace and the fact that the ball can go anywhere off his head makes him a liability.
He's a good captain, but then Catts could take the band, maybe Rodwell. No way is Gus blind to the failings of the CB pairing together. Brown is better than JOS in every imaginable way, a pacey CB would compliment Browns reading of the game.
Just loved watching Steed more. AJ is just as capable of taking the ball though a crowd like. Just something about Steed that had me under a spell. Love steed
