Anyone suggesting you will do a "Derby" a "Watford" or a "Sunderland" in terms of gaining a very low points total is well wide of the mark. Certainly in the cases of Derby and Watford they simply were not ready in any way shape or form for promotion to the PL at the time. (Can't remember what happened with Sunderland - maybe they were just crap!)
Realistically you are with us in a mini league of 8 or 9 teams who will all be looking to pick enough points up off each other - WBA, QPR, Palace, Swansea, Sunderland, Burnley, West Ham (and possibly Southampton) - to survive. It might all come down to who Square Head can bring in not only this window but crucially in January. Long and Jelavic came in last January for us and their 9 goals between them was really what kept us clear of danger.
There will be stages of the season where you find points hard to come by but if you keep your points total just ahead of the number of games you have played you might just steer clear of the bottom 3. However all of this you are/ aren't good enough for the Premier League is just bluster and none of us will know until the season gets going and we see how you perform.
