<laugh> All this smugness about how well run a club you are, and how smoothly you'll transition to the PL. Your manager has no top level experience, neither do most of your players, neither do your owners and board. The majority of the posters here were probably about 8 the last time you were in the top flight too.

We'll have to agree to disagree... I'll certainly be keeping a keen eye on your first 5 fixtures though!

Experience is not as important as quality, as you found out last season!

I'm not "smug" about us being a well-run club, I'm just stating a fact since we're talking about factors that will come into play.

The first five fixtures will tell you nothing about us because, as you're very aware, we have almost as tough a start as is possible. Where we finish in May is all that matters.

Instead of checking our first five games where we know as well as you we will be fighting for every point. Lets keep an eye on the like for like results, so after you have played last seasons top five home and away and so have we lets compare results then!!!!!! Or better still lets keep a check on the Last five results. Assuming you have anything to play for by then.<nahnah>

That way then nobody could give an opinion on any side going down , people can only judge on what they have seen over a number of years , and without having a go or wumming as you say I have seen enough of your team to suggest at present in my opinion you will do well to stay up.

What do you mean by "seen enough"? Because we have been barely challenged over the last year!

I mean whether it's been live football or on the box I have seen enough of most of your team to form an opinion , it's nothing to take offence at many people think we hull will struggle it's an opinion that is all.

Exactly, people say Hull will struggle, because they don't really know much about you... And you'll tell them why you won't struggle... Which is what we're doing here...

Just because a player gets relegated doesn't mean he is no good it's based on a squad over 38 games to suggest a player isn't good enough because his team went down is nothing short of ridiculous .

Agreed ... but similarly ridiculous is to believe that a squad as full of promising young players as ours is, is sure to struggle due to lack of Premiership experience ... Southampton have just sold £92 million of such talent because they rose to the challenge once promoted ... 3 of the stand out performers at the World Cup were 22/23 years of age ... and with no 'previous' World Cup experience ... youth does not fear failure ... and that's why I'm cautiously optimistic ... but definitely optimistic ... our lads will, IMHO, come into their own in the last third of games when other sides are tiring (and the QPR defence have been wheeled into oxygen tents <whistle>)

I don't take offence. But any idiot can come on here and say we'll go down without providing the reasoning behind their opinion. All I ever hear is that we haven't signed any established prem players (ie hasbeens), which can only be a good thing (our '96 team had very few established prem players and survived until 2002. Our 2003 team had tons of experience and went straight back down)!

To be honest, if it's a Hull or QPR fan saying it, when they have a vested interest as both will struggle, I take the comments as "hope" rather than truly "believe".

We do know a fair bit about Hull though, because they've already played one season in the Prem and have signed "well-known" players. Similar thing with QPR. But unless you watched a fair bit of Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater, Knockaert, De Laet, Wassa, James and Ulloa last season (as they all came on leaps and bounds and Mahrez and Wasa were new signings) you won't have a realistic opinion of us.

It's nothing to do with hope I have no ill feeling towards Leicester and not bothered who goes down as long as hull are not one of them , for the decent posters on here I hope Leicester stay up but again it's only an opinion but are there three worse teams currently then Leicester I can think of two a third I cannot .

NP has plenty or prem experience with West Brom and Newcastle
You do realise having experience means **** all in ability. Experience just helps in situations which many of our players have been through countless time throughout their careers
What does having no prem experience with the owners have to do with the price of fish? Tony Fernandes has some experience and everyone was laughing at him and still are for it.

I just realised we need some prem experience. I propose we do some swap deals with QPR quickly to shore up our ranks

We can swap Schmeichel, Moore, Drinkwater, Mahrez, and Vardy and get in Rob Green, Richard Dunne, Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Bobby Zamora

We can't go wrong with that sort of experience on board, right?

Not saying you do Fettis, but I'm sure you'd rather see us go down that yourselves. You can't think of three teams worse than us? OK. That's your opinion. We'll see how accurate that is in May. I can think of three very easily (Hull, QPR and Burnley).

We missed out on Ferdinand. Not sure how we'll survive now.

Anyways Grifter, I'll take your predictions with a pinch of salt, if you don't mind...

Your last prediction was one that involved you overtaking us, and beating us to the Championship title, if I remember correctly? <laugh>

Weren't you "coming for us", or something? <laugh>

I saw enough of leicester last year to think they may well thrive in the PL
There are enough established PL sides who they will fancy taking points off and if they make the KP an inhospitable plac to come they will stay up comfortably
Need to ditch that drummer though,he's ****

Oh Grif....you don't help yourself and keep digging these big holes for yourself. As funny as it is you know yourself the first 5 games will prove absolutely diddly squat and thankfully the season does not finish after 5 games. Let's have this conversation in April 2015 though chap and see how things are shaping up then.

I have gone for between 9th & 17th, with 17th being a more realistic finishing place. Much will be down to your home form, win enough home games (around 9 or 10 - sounds easy eh?) and you should be okay. If you don't, I think you will go straight back down as I would not expect many/enough away points to be honest.
