... a sensible post, one which perhaps unsurprisingly, I tend to agree with ... there is huge hunger in our squad combined with a fair sprinkling of talent ... certain posters seem to be in awe of the Prem ... yes there are some very good teams ... but as European opposition showed last season ... even the best of our teams are beatable on any given day ...

Theres a good chance that you guys will stay up in my opinion, but really by the skin of your teeth. I really think Burnley will be relegated by March. I think its really a dual with you guys, Sunderland, Hull, QPR, West Brom, Palace and villa. I think 2 of Hull, Villa and West Brom will join Burnley. It'll be very tough to finish top 10. Good luck with the season boys, I'll be pulling for you.

Actually, historically, we've always done as well on the road as at home. There are two ways to look at that really: 1. We do a lot better than most clubs our size away from home and 2. we never quite manage to create a home "fortress" unlike some clubs. If we could have both these things then 9th would be more realistic than 17th!
