Lads and lasses, a young girl is in intensive care in Newcastle's RVI after being seriously injured in Mowbray Park in Sunderland over the weekend.

I know every single one of us on these boards will hope that the 14-year old pulls through. Her father says the next few days are crucial. Here's hoping she is ok.

Whilst of course I fully agree and best wishes to the girl, please don't say because of this amazing gesture from Sunderland fans we are now going to have to mourn every terrible thing that happens in the North East just to keep up appearances?

Well don't worry because once the season starts and the good will has disappeared I'm sure everyone will be back to business as normal....hating each other.

****ing hell you mags know how to bring a thread of unity down.

Dorty, very sad news, 14 is no age to be left fighting for your life, my thoughts are with her fella. <ok>

Not at all I've not experienced that, probably to do with being raised in County Durham, there's a 50/50 split here so we all get along haha. Hope that this incident does enable the more moronic people to realise that there is more to life than hate over football, of course <ok>

Absolutely, lets hope so.

I really shouldn't answer that but I will.
Why do you think people care about others?
Some do, some don't, I put you in the latter bracket.
If something like this & God forbid it does, happen to you, how would you feel?
**** off you prick, you're a piss ant.

To say I don't care for others couldn't be further from the truth and you have also completely missed the point of my post, however I will save yourself the boredom, and myself the time, of explaining properly to you though <ok>
