Aye but could have had one or two from us and 3-1 or even 3-2 would have been more in line with what the lads deserved!

    Ref Watch starts at 9
Just seen the highlights of Real Madrid that ref should never have another game.
2 players given 2 yellows within 20 seconds of the first offence.

    Fcuking typical
Gvardiol tackle was low one footed
    - at 3-4 times the pace of O9s tackle
    So right decision <doh>

But Romero challenge should have been a red
    - not as bad as Gvardiol’s

Colour me suprised they agreed and justified it.

Just because it wasnt half way up his leg doesnt excuse a reckless challenge that endangered an opponent.

Guaranteed if one of our players had made that challenge and only got a yellow they eould have said it was wrong and deserved a red

There always has been and always will be bias towards the supposedly top clubs . We were well beaten by a very good side who dont need that advantage .
My frustration is they win back the ball or break up counter attacks by fouling and they get away with it all the time . That tackle first half was worse than Oniens ..

    cheers again RTB....

just watched the 90 mins and wondering why that tackle on nordi hardly got looked at yet oniens had many many angles and reviews, would also add that early game i noticed city got a few free kicks from very minor 'touches' yet we did not get the same 'protection'...there again, Mr Mad-ley had the whistle.

that said, the ref did not lose us the game, the lads tried hard but i feel the fact it was 'city' had them wound up as some of our passing was dire especially on the rare occasion we got over the half way line, two good goals and a deflection that roefs had no chance with and with a bit of luck we might have made the score a bit more respectable but i really did not expect anything less.

cant say anyone deserved a MotM but none were really bad, onto next game and i hope there are a few to choose from.

edit: missed the game as some dipsh1t decided to arrange a family meal on a sarrada!
