If a player is banned by the FA it doesn't prevent him from playing in European competitions or internationals so what's the difference ?

I would say this, he has bitten two people within the confines of the league he was playing in at the time, I think fifa have therefore said that you've done it in Holland, England and here in Brazil at a World Cup so you cant be trusted to play anywhere now. So your gonna have to go and sit down for 4 months and think it over with a bit of help thrown in as well...

Stupid thing to do, but I really can't see why such a masvive fuss is made out of a bite that didn't break the skin, it's not like he head-butted him, kicked him in the face, punch him in the face. Still, lots of previous so I think there's a chance you're gonna lose him for a few weeks again.
Again. This has **** all to do with LFC or the Premier League. All you haters get that into your stupid ****ing unable to keep up with the controversy skulls. Banning Suarez from the PL for an international misdemeanour is as rational as banning him from internationals for something he did in the PL. Makes no sense.
Now who looks like a stupid ****. It was obvious they were going to throw the book at him as hard as they could FIFA control WORLD football, not just internationals, any idiot could see it, well, obviously not every idiot.

Why? Usually, if a player picks up a suspension he is suspended from the competition in which he was participating in. They don't get banned from everything. The only time its a worldwide footballing ban is when its drug abuse. Are we seriously saying biting someone is as bad as drug abuse...?

1. It's his 3rd offence. A repeat offender. The punishment should be stricter than the previous times. Just banning a player from international games would not do that.

2. He bit Chiellini on the biggest stage in football - the World Cup where hundreds of millions of people are watching it. A clear message had to be sent out that this behaviour will not be tolerated.

The club may fine him, I would

They have to really.
By the end of this ban, combined with the last one, they would have paid him the equivalent of around £4m whilst he was banned. That is unacceptable!

only blinkered LFC fans couldn't see it.

Only 4 months, I bet it took 15 hospital orderlies to restrain Fistian smith when he heard the news, that and a whole lot of morphine.

wonder if his wife and kids will move to spain whilst this is going on.

be a nightmare for them when luis gets back with how our press are.

hopefully they can look for a new place as well for when barca buy him :bandit:

Stop talking ****e, only blinke.... shut up numpty

I didn't say all, but it was pretty obvious it was going to happen for all the reasons RK mentioned, only the numpties lacking intelligence couldn't see it. enjoy your single season in the CL.

I can't wait to read what Donga QC has to say about this....

How about a new Suarez Limerick (proper one this time, not an Irish one!) to calm things down?

*Cough*

Attention and harken to my brain-fart:

Luis' dyslexia was easy to see,
Demonstrated against Italy,
In a ravenous fit,
the defender he bit,
Was definitely not Cannelloni.

A-thank-you!!
