Of course it ain't gonna happen Smug, but I just don't see life through rose-tinted glasses. Like I said earlier, the vast majority of fans are fickle and short of memory. If ES was to build a massively expensive new squad next season, that included Suarez, the success and trophies that followed from those initial signings, including Suarez, over the next 20 years..... no one would give a **** what happened at the start of it all, that we signed a ****ing biter! That's what I mean about football fans being fickle. We might want to hold the high moral ground at the moment, but in 3, 4, 10 years from now?.... they wouldn't give a ****.
Another one bites the dust, And another one gone, and another one gone, Italy bites the dust, Hey, I'm gonna get to you too, Another one bites the dust.
The poll on RTG is running at around 50/50 ........ there's more people with principles than you think mate
I worry when Gus, who played the game with distinction, comes out and defends this prick, I just hope he keeps quite this time and thinks about the wider situation. Suarez should be banned from this and the next World Cup their is no place for such a player in this great showpiece. He is a disgraceful human being and has soured this tournament before. The sooner he moves on the better, hopefully as far away as possible, Liverpool could do without this stain and so could we all.
It's sad that the player, the manager & some supporters instantly default to all too predictable settings. Pretending nothing happened and that Suarez was actually elbowed is shallow. Some Liverpool supporters, having boasted about him being their player at the World Cup, are now saying he's on international duty and nowt to do with them. It's times like this that people's true class comes through.
Some Liverpool fans on my facebook page all happy about it because they think it will put Barca and Madrid off buying him. Thick as ****.
Understandable but I doubt that it is the true opinion of the majority of fans or for that matter his teammates when they think about it.
He's a special talent who is far too superior for that Brendan Rodgers side, it's a way for them to keep hold of him. They've finally got somebody who could genuinely deliver the big trophy they all desire but he can't keep his teeth to himself. My heart bleeds. Give him a slap on the wrist, 3 game ban, apologise to the Italians, make him wear a Bane mask for the rest of his life.
In my opinion he should get sine die, however, I doubt FIFA have the bollocks to do owt like that. I mean, let's face it, this is five times now he's bit a man. He's a hell of a player but he's a waste of ****ing space. He's like that twat El Hadji Diouf that played for us. Always gobbing on folk, spitting at bairns & so forth. Well I'll tell you this, if a man bit me or spat at me or my kid, I'd kick his ****ing head in.

Im fully aware of the fact that I am not right in the head mate ive known this for at least the last 10 years. I guess I can see the light side of most situations and don't take life too seriously. Life goes on nobidy died suarez will get banned no real harm done as far as im concerned.
If he bit someone and got a 7 match ban, did it again and got a 10 match ban, I suppose logically the next would be 15? The thing is the lengthy bans have had no effect. He still does it with millions watching. Crazy.
