I would rather be punched or kicked any day rather than some dirty little bastard biting me.

    How old are you? Ten?

The games been going to the dogs for ****ing years now mate.

Can you remember when Butcher or Ince wore the 3 lions? Blood covered shirts but they wouldn't allow themselves to be substituted.

Those days are gone. They fall over when in contact with an opponents shirt nowadays.

It's not the game I grew up with, but it's the game I'm left with to watch, and support as a 50odd year old.

Apologies GS, not having a pop at you. I'm just pissed off that the game I love has been corrupted.

The medical staff should know there'd be plenty of blood where there's a butcher.

This is partly why the serial-biter Saurez is despised in this country......he dives, he falls over, he's a racist, lay one finger on him and he throws himself on the floor looking to gain a decision from the ref. And tonight he bit someone and pretended he'd been elbowed. What a slimy piece of ****e this bloke is and yet he is a great footballer. I hope he gets the book thrown at him again for his actions, another ten game ban should do the trick.

Fair enough, I think you're not right in the head but we're all entitled to our opinions <ok>

Smug mate, you are bang on. Biting someone is ****e, there are people out there with parts of their face, nose and ears missing after some scummy ****bag has taken a bite out of them. Anyone who finds this amusing must be some kind of sicko.

You may think that but I can only speak for myself and comment on the other Sunderland supporters I know.

I've seen various players leave and the decent ones get a decent reception if they come back, the likes of Bent and Colback may not. I don't easily forgive cheats, liars & hypocrites.

The point I am making is that it is now recognised that if some one has an infection or disease it can be passed to another human via bodily fluids - biting someone means that potentially these fluids are easily transferred (in this case via saliva not blood) to the recipient of the body fluids. In the case of Butcher and Ince would you have been happy if someone was infected with a disease - no I am sure you wouldn't and I am sure their love of wearing the shirt contributed to them staying on the pitch. The game that you and I loved has been changed by cheating bastards who have been introduced into the English game and that is a different issue to someone who acts like an animal and potentially endangers a fellow professional - and btw I am not ten lol

You don't raise your hands. You don't bite people. Should get at least a 4 game ban, probably more as it's now his third offence. Personally, I think ten would be right, given the past history.

Smug, I think you're misreading my comments. My opinion of the man is no different to yours.

Most of my mates hate how he undermines his own claim to greatness with these ridiculous examples of human frailty, whilst respecting his undoubted talents as a footballer.

But you must recognise that, if Suarez was to be our "statement signing", the vast majority of fans (you and me, and our combined circle excepted), would be delighted to sign a 25-35 goal a season irrespective of the weaknesses of the man.

I'm not misreading your comments at all, I just totally disagree that 40,000 Sunderland supporters would welcome Suarez.

I wouldn't welcome Suarez, Carroll, Bent, Gyan and various others.

Shearer says 'they should absolutely hammer him' ........ I totally agree.

Season long ban and then give him a choice of teeth extraction or wear a muzzle.

Hat trick for Suarez ...... bites the bloke, pretends he's been elbowed then this,

Suarez, speaking to Uruguyan TV, said:
"These situations happen on the field. I had contact with his shoulder, nothing more. Things like that happen all the time."

    Horrible little bastard <doh>

    Disgusting little prick. But...........

2915/16: Hat trick for Suarez, and Sunderland amaze the footballing world and win the Premier League, picking up their first major league title in 70odd years and qualifying for the Champions League for the first time in the clubs history.

No more than a handful of Sunderland fans will give a **** what happened at this World Cup or before.

None of that will happen and, in any case, I believe many Sunderland supporters don't want proven cheats at the club.

You think different but the Sunderland supporters I know wouldn't want him here.

People still despise Speedie and that was decades ago.
