Bosnia made Argentina look decent, as Argentina (for all there star players) can't function properly as a team so I'll be surprised if they went onto to win the tournament. I get the impression most people who are backing Argentina are just assuming they are a good team because they have Messi, Aguero, Di Maria and co but how many people watched them pre world cup in a 90 minute game against quality opposition?

Lots of goals scored so far in this world cup but there doesn't seem to be one complete team, one team that you can see excels in all areas, even the favourites Brazil have an ordinary team compared to past great teams so I possibly shouldn't rule out Argentina as they could surprise but I think as soon as they face another big nation they will get knocked out.

Netherlands?

Costa Rica??? <laugh> Like the great Spain I suppose.

<laugh>....Spain have to be defeated, they can't be allowed to win the world cup as this is the year of counter attacking football with Costa Rica leading the way!

More inconsistencies. Surely the French player who retaliated by kicking out (sorry can't remember who it was) should have been sent off? His action was far more viscious than what Beckham got sent off for. Also didn't see the Palacios incident so was he deservedly sent off? If a Brazillian player had done the same thing against Croatia would they have been sent off?

Thanks I wasn't aware that counter attacking was flavour of Brazil 2014 <ok>

Palacios was being a complete douche for most of the time that he was on the pitch. Both him and Pogba should have been red carded... but Palacios was the one in the wrong... stamping on Pogba in the first place. Yes, Pogba shouldn't have retaliated but Palacios was a complete bellend.

In fact most of the Honduras team were being to55ers. Not going to win many fans at this tournament playing like they did last night. It was like watching Stoke under Pulis on a particularly physical day. Just watch the replay of the Boniek challenge on Evra. Knobhead.

So there we have it; the considered critique of Honduras, they consist of complete douches and play like bellends and knobheads, which if I am not mistaken is the same thing. No longer honorary they must therefore be called Duras in future.

Poor old Palacious.

Anyone remember the Polish Boniek BTW, is that who has been named after?

I actually meant that he played like a local from the village of Bell End in Worcestershire. Trust me, they're nasty up there.

Just when I thought my opinion of Brazilian fans couldn't sink any further, several thousand of them buy tickets to last night's game to troll Lionel Messi.

Blatter's bank manager is probably laughing at the fact they increased the ticket revenue...

I just had to check it out and Wiki has a four line entry for that village (try getting a much shorter entry in Wiki) and a photo of a Shell petrol station in a forest. There appears to be no other structures. Presumably the locals live in the forest and pop into the petrol station for treats and camping gaz.

They are bell enders after all.

Most of the locals go on a yearly pilgrimage to Antarctica to ascend this mountain: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knobhead

I can't work out if the Wiki entry for it is a joke though... "It was discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (1901–04) and so named because of its appearance."

Cini, remember we welcome you on this board but in one thread you have insulted one of our former stars and a well respected manager on here, Tony Pulis.

All I said was that Palacios lives in Worcestershire and goes on holidays to Antarctica.

Neymar: Scottish for no, mother.

To make up for that poor joke, here's a picture of him with his girlfriend:
