The game that made Germany rethink their entire footballing structure, leading to them winning this year's World Cup?

Nope, twas losing to a poor England in Euro 2000 that triggered the rebuilding.

    Really?

England: Seaman, G. Neville, P. Neville, Campbell, Keown, Beckham, Scholes (Barmby 72), Shearer, Owen (Gerrard 61), Ince, Wise.

    Well done, Stevie! <laugh>

When you lose + do not even score against an England team that includes
Dennis Wise, you KNOW something fundamental needs to change.

Brazilians sure seem to have short memories judging by the list of managers in line to replace Scolari: Dunga's on the shortlist, and even the Brazil fans hated the football he had them playing - and they embraced clogger bonito!
